If you are running multiple units you always want to use an antenna distro, and with the Shure UA844 you can power the receivers from the distro (up to 4 units). That way you only need one external power supply, not 5 (assuming 4 receivers).
Do you have any more specifics about the almost imperceptible difference in audio quality between the SLXD line and all the others? They all show a 120db dynamic range. Are they all 24 bits at 48 kHz?
