G'day Richard. There is a primeval feel about the outback, a vibrancy and emotional cleansing for those who get to experience it. I get a real sense of this as you capture it's essence, it's heartbeat. Always love your rock cliffs and reflective water scenes, they are full of character and upfifting. The tree trunks really bring the illusion of detail and the skyline trees help draw the eye. Another masterclass mate. Cheers Rich.

Wow, this painting shines like a precious gemstone, wonderful colors plus the fine details like the bright tree trunks and the trees in the middleground create an impressive depth. Light and shadow can be separated very well, and the water, shining like a mirror surface, looks fantastic, not to mention the contrast between the blue shades of the sky and the orange tones of the rocks. I think nowhere in the world can one so clearly identify a continent based on the special colors of the landscape, and you breathe colorful life into even the most lifeless stone. Was very confusing seeing the very pale mixes on the palette suddenly becoming so dark when they hit the canvas until I realised your palette was in reflection from your window. You're a bit of a wizard with that huge palette knife. 👍

I believe that this one is my most favorite color palettes of yours! Clean, clear, pure, light and dark. Reminiscent of a stained glass window! Interestingly, I was just thinking of including a few observations regarding your placement of the details in my comments at the end of watching. Within moments you were indeed describing your methods of choosing and including the detail marks! My observations were to be that I find that your taste, restraint, and ability to place detail for maximum but appropriate impact is impeccable! Very natural, well-balanced and not repetitive, which nature avoids. As you said, more random. Gorgeous painting Richard! What a talent!
