I just started playing this, initially I thought it was loud but then I placed my iPad on the bed and noticed how calm I was beginning to feel. It’s amazing. I will have this playing now when I work as it is so calming to my mind. BTW your videos led me to finally seek an ADHD assessment after years of struggling, not holding down jobs and this ‘all of nothing’ approach to life, causing severe procrastination and burnout. So thank you! I have the assessment booked for this Saturday, it’s scary and I feel like an imposter, but if it leads to a better life then it’ll be the best decision I ever made.

@@ericaheap that’s kind of you to ask - the assessment was a very lengthy process but worth it in the end. I was diagnosed with ADHD and felt like an imposter right up until I started medication as that’s when I noticed a difference. Within a day I could think more clearly, I could sit still at my desk and work without getting distracted. Even situations that would usually overwhelm or upset me didn’t phase me in the same way, as I was able to handle things and think rationally. I’ve noticed I’m less impulsive too. In general, I feel like a normal person I guess, and it’s like a 40 year weight has been lifted off my shoulders 😊

Oh my gosh thank you - it's been a very very hard day and I don't know why but this timer is helping when all the other one's aren't. Maybe some sense of accountability because youtube is - kind of, technically - connected to real people ?
    Thank you 🙏

This is great! I love the combination of the sound and the visual display. I'm definitely going to try a few of these out at work tomorrow for some timed tasks I want to undertake. Thanks for uploading!

That sound is DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!!!
It’s SOO similar to what my brain makes when I’m in a quiet place and not listening to music!!!!!!! I can’t concentrate on anything AT ALL unless I’m listening to some “good” music… (Music I like)

Tis true - it’s not for everyone, but for those that do respond well to it, there’s some really interesting studies that show it really helps for ADHDers x

You see I can be fascinated by watching paint dry - so I might need to find the discipline to look away from this or nothing will get done 😂
