One of the nameless ghouls said in an interview "it's cool for people to come out to the show and have so much fun. Whether you're really into worshipping Satan, or just want to pretend for a night, come out and have a good time because that's what it's all about." And I totally agree with that. I gotta share this story.
So, I had a dog who was passing away from stage 4 kidney disease. On the day I took her on her last walk, I played this song while I was walking her because it happened to be on my playlist. The day after she passed, I played this song. It reminded me of my last walk with my dog and I cried while Papa was singing about how Satan is going to take over the world. Though it’s not necessarily the song that would be associated with loss, it still reminds me of her on rare occasions. I still listen to this song a shit ton and repeat the lyrics over and over again. Fucking love Ghost
