The fact that Ghost time traveled back to 1969 to film an authentic music video for one of my favorite songs, which they also made, is just awesome.
No no no. The original Ghost was formed in '69 by Papa Nihil and the EP Seven Inches of Satanic Panic was recorded, but he knew the world wasn't ready for them, so they went into hiding until 2010, when he felt the world was ready. The girl in green is Sister Imperator and she has an affair with Papa Nihil, and gives birth to who would become Cardinal Copia and Papa Emeritus IV.

@@gombka1144 Hi new fan here. I am still little confused about this part. If this band was formed in 1969 and all papas are played by Tobias Forge, wouldnt he be much much older then he is now? That being said, he took the concept of the original band Ghost which was underground at that time (not much of evidence to find about them) and now he is continuing they lore? I am so confused about the video taken at ´69 and the band now. Who is the real Ghost and what is the diferrence betweeen current and previous one.
@@vi9238o, the band was formed around 2010, but the lead singer dresses up as different “papas” who are all different characters. This is the fictional papa “papa nihil” who was papa back in the 60s in the ghost universe.

While I showed up late to Papa III's era, and had to process him and the older characters getting killed off, so that Cardinal Copia/Papa IV could be ushered in, seeing Sister Imperator's story with Papa Nihil gradually unfold has been an interesting ride.

Oh my god, I felt like crying when I saw the sister's appearance in the chorus part. 😭This lyric video is the prologue of chapter 8, which is just before the chapter kiss the go-goat. Suddenly I feel very sad. This video captures where sister is going in that green dress, maybe she is going to see Nihil sing. But she missed the love song "Mary on a cross" specially given to her by nihil. After going there, she only saw him kissing other girls in "kiss the go-goat"😥😭

One of the best rock bands to come out in this last Decade. This band gives me faith in the music industry.
If you're looking for more new bands, check out Greta Van Fleet. They embrace the sound of the classics, and have been compared to Led Zeppelin. Another band to check out is King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Their sheer volume of music can be daunting at first (having made 23 albums over the course of 12 years, even making 5 albums in 2017 alone). They constantly change their style and experiment with many different genres, with some stuff being more accessible than others. They're pretty much the definitive psychedelic rock band of the 21st century.

i "discovered' Ghost some 8 months ago and just could not believe that this music was available "Right Here, Right Now"..... I am 73 years old and am in awe of this amazing band. Tobias is a fine musician and an inspiration. I just wish now that I took up the bass 60 years ago and not 3 years ago. That is true regret. But what a fantastic group.
