Ottimo video, bravissimo, dopo 4 anni con il sensore sinistro che non funzionava, stamattina, dopo aver visto il tuo video, ho provato a fare lo stesso. 2 ore di lavoro ed ora sembra funzionare bene
Hi man. I also have a BMW 318i from 2000 and I have a problem with the fuel level indicator on the dashboard. The fuel level indicator decreases when the petrol is consumed from the tank but after refueling, the fuel level needle no longer rises, I have to remove the dashboard and remove the plug from it and insert it again. A reset sound is heard and after the needle on the fuel gauge it rises. What would be the problem? I changed the fuel pump from the tank, the dashboard and the same thing happens.
*Yesterday I went to do a new key for a BMW 218i (2015). I couldn't find the battery to disconnect it before removing the FEN/BDC module. After I finished the key and put everything back, the fuel level indicator shows ZERO and also the RANGE MILEAGE does Not show. I diagnose the car and I get "804954 Right Fuel Level Sensor: Short Circuit To B+ Or Line Disconnection". I am wondering if the issue is within the FEM/BDC (Body Control Unit) or somewhere else. Any suggestions anybody???? Thanks in advance.*
I have same question as you. I have 335i and I have upgraded stage 2+ fuel pump for 2 years running e85. I replaced the original fuel pressure regulator with another stock one around a year ago. Out of nowhere last month, I went to start my car and fuel level just shows zero.
My problem was the FEM/BDC unit. I replaced it and the problem was solved. After i looked at the original FEM/BDC I found out that one of the pins was bend and probably it was not making any contact with the connectors. There was nothing wrong with the fuel pump.
I have an e46, when I fill up the fuel to the max, it shows half full, then slowly creeps up the next day, do you think I’m having the same issue? Just clean the sensor

What are the steps you did to open fuel pumps? Did you disconnect a sensor or Sth before removing the pump?
I removed the seat, unplugged the wires of the fuel pump, the unscrew the cover... Very easy
nice video, i will give it a try
thanks boss
great video
Thank you 😊

@@peepeeskillz Check the basics. Fuses (behind the clove compartment) . If fuses are all good then it must be your fuel pump.
Good job

Yes, try cleaning first. Cheapest option. Then go from there
It could be the issue in one sensor. You need to figure out which one is the faulty and clean it
