Nice one stu what a van 👍 customer loves it he’s going to have some great adventures keep up the great work 👍 love your new motorhome to can’t wait for the tour in the next few vids 😄
Bang on to customer's requests. Ace job team Vanology. Plastic seems to be "faux" leather or "vegan" leather, which we know is a load of spherical objects but we need to be "current". Nice selection of options. Class, just class.
Said it before and will say it again...your attention to detail is top notch and what sets you apart from the rest..if anyone wants to know what your usp is: Attention to detail is the answer..another very good conversion and a happy customer.. Take care Stu & team🤩
This this is probably my favourite conversion you've done so far, personally anyway - love the layout and the finish of everything. Would be good to get a rough idea of what something like this would cost (including and excluding the actual van) but appreciate it's a business you're running so not everything is for public knowledge. Looking forwards to seeing the next one!
Thank you, I don’t mind sharing costs at all we want to be transparent, this conversion cost just over £20k, I couldn’t tell you the van cost as the customer supplied this 👍🏻🚐
One of my favourite layouts so far the space was fantastic and felt very open, we even pulled back the wall cabinets above the oven to make it more spacious and better views out the door 👊🏻🚐
A beautiful van Stu. You excel above all the other van builders, and I subscribe to quite a few. Love that Dave loved it. Cor, when I win the lottery !!!!!
Hi I love all your videos and look forward to the next ones soon. Question though, do you change the details on the log book from van to motor camper van? If yes could you do a video on this as it seems it can be very hard to do with the DVLA. Many thanks and keep up the hard work. Gary
Fantastic video, they just keep getting better and better. Very interested in where you get the tiles from if you are happy to share, also the curtains if not home made.
The curtains were thermal blackout ones from Amazon, the walls tiles we got from B&Q and fitted with contact adhesive but we did have an issue with one joint so had to inlay an oak veneer on the joint 👍🏻🚐
Well done Stu, lovely van (perhaps not as nice as your new one)😂😂 but you realy do a quality job, i bet these vans won't be back like some of the expensive makers, credit to you fab.
Love the build Stu, absolute credit to you 😊 Where you get your cupboard hinges ? One thing I'm defo upgrading on my campervan units... the pistons tends to pull the door slightly of square/line
On my travels I often see these low slung Maxi Mover type vans and often wonder how cool it would be to convert one of those, I would imagine you could do quite a lot regarding the layout due to it being just a big square box with flat sides and square corners, I'm also into karting so the big barn doors at the back with a garage underneath and bed above would be ideal, what are your thoughts Stu on that type of van for a conversion?
Thanks for the video and great Van again. I was wondering if you weigh you finished vans to see how much payload the customer has? Also where did you buy the mattress from for this van? Is it a standard double?
Thank you, yes all the beds are full size beds so the mattresses can be any standard double. We haven’t weighed any of the recent ones but our first an which had everything including a shower weighed 2640kg so had a 860kg payload 👊🏻
Fantastic build Stu. I've had the same lurgy!! Been rough for about 3 weeks now. Finally on some antibiotics ( phenoxymethylpenicillin ) after getting a doctors appointment. Loving the ply for the furniture. I will be getting the same as its cheaper and more durable if it gets knocked. Really nice seeing what it will look like built in-situ. I'd like to see how you build those cabinets that over hand the sliding doorway. Just where your attaching them and how you go about it negotiating the C pillar. I'm doing the same battens between the sky lights. Did you attach them to the ceiling before or after? Nailed or screwed? Good seeing another video... your keeping me going as my enthusiasm is waining. 😂 All the best mate 🙏🏻
Thanks mate, I’ve still bloody got it as has the wife and kids, I think we may need a doctors visit too cos it ain’t budging. For the wall cabinets we go into batten pre installed in the ceiling and also get into the metal framework in the wall with the end panel. This coupled with an additional batten that runs on the inside along the roof that is screwed into the roof cross members and pocket holed into the rear of the fascia 👊🏻🚐
Yes mate get down the docs for those antibiotics. I know aload of people on the same ones down my end in Kent. Strep Throat there calling it down here. Its wiped me out. Getting better now though. Yeah, I still refer to your old budget boxer video for tips n tricks. I just wondered if you did anything different with those cabinets that over hang the sliding door... like pocket hole the back panel up into the box section that runs above the sliding door opening. You know the ones where some do a little boxed up control panel section. That's scribe central that section with the back panel and end panel on that cupboard. Love your work my man 💪🏻 Keep it up. I need some Vanology Conversions Merch too 😂 that looks a nice hoody that. 👌🏻🍻
I remember the first time I did that section and was a few head scratch moments but I pocket hole the end panel into the metal frame and ceiling timber 🛠️
Also I've got a question: would you take on a Sprinter van fridge conversion? There would be no insulation work, just a crawling door to the cupboard and a single sliding bed that converts into a double. It would be a similar conversion to this one but with a slightly different layout: [RUclips Video](ruclips.net/video/y4FONzEYBpE/видео.htmlsi=_FVY1V-QNdHxGlgi). It would be for full-time living, hence my idea for one of those. I'm happy for your suggestions though if you feel it's not good. I'm considering getting one of those due to their insulation. They are made of GRP panels, so no batting is needed, just minimal support and rivets rather than screws. The crawling door to the cabin is the most difficult part (at least for someone without the skills) to fit. I wonder if you would be up for this project.

Hi . You have created a dead leg on the tap. Legionellers. Best cap it at the tap end. Nice van.
Thank you, it is capped at the tap end 👍🏻🚐
Watched every video. The standard and details improves on every build. The new wall fabric options will take it to higher level as well.
Thanks Terry, it’s good to know there is more options than just t&g and carpet 👊🏻🚐

Hi Stu,
If you don't mind... where are you sourcing your tweed style fabric from. I'm considering this as a finish but not many have done it. Ta.
For our cushion covers these are supplied by our upholsterer but for a good supply for walls etc we use rc fabrics 👍🏻🚐
Hope you feel better soon mate. What a excellent build .. can I ask what size windows they were plz. Carry on the good work 👏
Still got it but soldiering on, the rear door is 500x450 and the sides are 1100x450 👍🏻
@VanologyConversions thanks mate 👍

Could the quilted fabtic provide e3xtra insulation, depending in the insert?
Every layer will all provide a degree of insulation but wouldn’t rely on it as the primary source 👍🏻
@@VanologyConversions Totally - just thinking outoud, if the qulited inserts was made from Thinsulate material etc. Every little helps!
Where do I get the backsplash boards from? Have searched your Amzn shop, nothing there ... ❓
