  • My camper / motorhome conversion which I completed a couple of years ago. I'd never done any wood work prior to this so it was a fun project to take on! Underslung refillable gas system and water tanks, shower room, solar panel, full electrics. Upholstery by Mum!

      Hi Shahed. Thanks for the kind words. The Boxer, Ducato and Relay vans all work well as you can get a 6'4" bed sideways across the back to save space. The screens are Remis blinds and the flyscreen is dometic - Specifically made for these vans. I think they're all available from the likes of Magnum Motorhomes.

      That's a good point. Never thought of mentioning that. I have a channel in the floor about 6 inches wide which runs across the floor adjacent to the cupboard which houses the electrics. The water pipes run behind the shower room and across this channel to get to the kitchen side.

      Hi, to be honest I don't know. From research before buying the gas people were able to go weeks with fairly heavy usage. We didn't get away for long breaks so never uses much gas. It cost about £12 to fill it and it lasted us ages. The kit was from gas-it and worked well.

    • @Rickbrown74
      @Rickbrown74  4 года назад

      Hi thanks for the comments. Much appreciated!! 👍 The fabric was from Modelli fabrics. I think it was called Tivoli. The seats were from a Kia Sedona. We stripped them and then added stiff foam to mould the shape to what you see now. My mother then made the covers to suit. Was really chuffed with the result considering the seats cost thirty pounds each including the swivel! 😁

      Sorry but I've since sold the van so can't get you the measurements. The double seat is the trickiest part. You need to make it smaller than you imagine to make it work and make sure to slope the side of it to allow more hip room going past it.
