Like many others, Star Wars was a franchise I grew up with and will always have fond memories of. And honestly nowadays there's so many different spinoffs it's hard to keep track of all of them! So with this video I wanna take a look back at the original 2 trilogies and some theories about them that I now fully consider to be canon.

From REVENGE OF THE SITH we see Chewbacca was a protector of Yoda. In A NEW HOPE, Obiwan actually met Chewbacca in the cantina before he met Han Solo. While Obiwan and Chewbacca were never seen together before the cantina scene, it is most likely that Obiwan knew of Chewbacca.
Fully agree!! I had a disagreement with a coworker over that lol. I said well it explains how Obi Wan approaches Chewbacca like he knew him. The idiot coworker says. No only Yoda knew the Wookies. I said read Revenge of the Sith Novelization. Kenobi and Skywalker were practically celebrities of course Obi Wan knew Chewie.
Here I am thinking everyone knows Han is force sensitive. And almost half a century…wow I’m getting old. Loved this!

I don’t think we have been mispronouncing kenobis name. If anything, Kenobi is equivalent to Johnson in the English language. John being the name of the father and son denoting the offspring of John. So For obi wan, ken could be equivalent to son so obi wan would be Obi’s son

Honestly, Anakin and Obi Wan both expecting the jump they've studied and practiced together just makes it 10 times funnier.

If palpatine really gets off while using Force lighting.. is it possible that he was about to nut when Vader picked him up? And that's what made him blind to Vader's betrayal

I don't agree with every theory you present. But do like several of them. The Han Solo one is very interesting. Seems feasible to me.

I had always figured everyone in the Star Wars galaxy was Force sensitive, it's just a matter of degree and training.
Han said, "It's OK. Trust me" before shooting the Sarlac tentacle. Another one of the stupid and detracting retcons.
Thinking of Palpatine letting one go in the middle of electrocuting Windu made me almost pee my pants.

Theory number 1 honestly don't believe the first one is a theory, it's quite apparent when watching the first 6 movies that Anakin/Vader were powerless, despite having immense power. Anakin turned into Vader because of Sidious, and Anakin could never escape, he was Vader now. When Luke sensed good in him he didn't see good in Vader, he literally saw Anakin trying to break through. The pleas Vader made was Anakin trying to come back, but he couldn't. That's why Vader told Luke to join him and kill the Emperor, because Vader was physically unable to do so, it had nothing to do with Sidious having more powerful force powers, but the fact that Vader had taken over Anakin completely. If Luke had listened he could have freed Anakin how he wanted. However i don't think that would be a good thing for Anakin.. When Luke attempted to strike down the Emperor, Anakin stopped him, when Luke was taunted, i'm still on the fence wether that was Vader or Anakin, probably Vader as Anakin wouldn't want Luke to kill in anger. In the end when Luke resisted, that's when Vader turned to Anakin again, as he saw it was possible to break free. Vader died when Luke resisted the dark side, he was wrong all along, Luke knew the power of the dark side, Anakin and Vader never did.
I at least read the final moments of RotJ like that. The whole series really, you see several times when Anakin comes through, his regret in saving Palpatine from Windu, crying on Mustafar, asking about Padmé, fighting Obi-Wan in the series, fighting Ashoka, Asking Luke to rule by his side and the scene in the first entry of this video. They were all Anakin, they're few, and the scenes with Vader were a majority. The reason he says what he does to Luke is because he has tried to become Anakin again for over 20 years, maybe even since he first left his mother. He failed and therefore he thinks it is impossible. The dark side enslaves after all, and everything Vader did is redeemable, only because it wasn't Anakin who did it.
Number 2. this will be a little shorter. Maul was caught by surprise, and his arrogance got him killed, but when Vader tried the same thing, Obi-Wan knew exactly what would happen. Again because of a Sith's arrogance.
Number 3? Yeah could be 100% correct tbh, It's supposed to sound kinda Samurai like. I've thought about it myself, but idk what to feel about it as he changed his name to Ben Kenobi after all. If that theory is correct he should have the name Obiben Kenobi.
Number 4... yeah, dude is a freak.
Number 5. I don't think he's force sensitive, but the force does influence everything, Obi-Wan confims that in literally the first movie. ALL living things, it's just that force sensitives can wield it.
Or his name was just Obi-Wan Kenobi with nothing behind it. And Palpatine could of just been a sadist and have nothing got to do with sex.
Next you'll be saying he "Graped" Vader as well.

LOL anyone who knows anything about Star wars no is your number two call out of the lightsaber styles along with the reckoning from the Darth maul incident and challenging Anakin to do it because he was too proud already knew that the thing.... Obviously obuwan was saying Anakin couldn't do what he did...
