Tradesman is all you need, that 8 speed trans is nice, 6.4 has alot of power, only thing I gotta do is get steps and I want a factory installed remote start too
Dude, that’s awesome. From a Kia Sedona to a Ram 2500 family daily driver. I am interested in doing the same. Our 2015 Kia Sorento has been the family suv slash mini work truck It has truly impressed me. But it’s time to upgrade to a truck now. I’m either between the 1500 crew cab 6’4 bed or the 2500 crew cab 8’ ft bed. Of course being the family daily hauler I’m sticking to the tradesman base trim model lol. Cool video sir. Thank you for the input.
I’m purchasing the Cummins tradesman. Waiting on a train and then the delivery truck for mine. Seems like it’s taking FOREVER! Great video and good luck on the upgrades. Also, I adopted 2 girls 16 years ago, thanks for doing that. God bless.
@@CarReviewer-nc5bz I get over 16 on hilly georgia back roads with no traffic lights and a couple stop signs, through town it's pretty bad but I always compare it to my last truck which was a 04 titan 4x4 crew cab and that truck would get 16 on the interstate and 10 around town,, so if my 3/4 ton with a bigger motor and heavier is doing better than my old half ton then I'm super happy with it, can't wait to do a interstate trip to florida soon to see how she does on a 4 hour trip.
Diesel is a 10k option. You can buy a lot of gas for 10 thousand dollars. Not to mention fuel filters, def, ccv filters, the list goes on. New diesels aren’t worth unless you plan on towing over 15k daily. Just my opinion anyway
Hey nice video Is that a factor alarm add on or aftermarket add on ?
Thanks for the review. I am looking at the same model. Your honesty is appreciated!

No problem! Tradesman level 2 is all I needed. $48,000 sticker and can pull 15,000 lbs easily.
@@CarReviewer-nc5bz why were the badges or emblems removed??
@@k.c.marshall921 because I removed them! Truck looks so much better without them.
Confused cloth seats seem like they would tear easier?

Thanks for posting up your review. It does help us for sure.
They say it better gas mileage over time.
There’s an oil FILTER, shit isn’t material floating around in the engine!
Did the truck come with the remote start or did you have that dealer-installed?
Dealer add on!
Am from pa too looking to get one soon!!!
Good luck finding one! The dealer I bought this from is begging me to trade it in for $55,000. As tempting as that offer is, I’m not doing it.
1500 lbs payload doesn't include the driver and passengers. At a 1000 lbs hitch weight, I would say you are at your max for payload!
My payload is 3,167 pounds on my tradesman.
I get around 14 mpg around town I'd I keep foot out of it
I can’t get anything better than 13 mpg. I’ve tried.

@@CarReviewer-nc5bz what gears you have?
@@CarReviewer-nc5bz it’ll get a little better when it breaks in.
duramax diesel get better fuel miles
Diesel is also more expensive! Not to mention GM is horrible now days. My neighbors 2 year old Tahoe burst into flames right outside their house.
