"Marriage, also called matrimony or wedlock, is a socially or ritually recognised union between spouses that establishes rights and obligations between those spouses, as well as between them and any resulting biological or adopted children and affinity (in-laws and other family through marriage). The definition of marriage varies around the world not only between cultures and between religions, but also throughout the history of any given culture and religion, evolving to both expand and constrict in who and what is encompassed, but typically it is principally an institution in which interpersonal relationships, usually sexual, are acknowledged or sanctioned. In some cultures, marriage is recommended or considered to be compulsory before pursuing any sexual activity. When defined broadly, marriage is considered a cultural universal. A marriage ceremony is known as a wedding." - wikipedia

dude I think interviewing all these people with different professions, is really going to help young people figure out what profession they want.

Lovely Video! Sorry for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you ever tried - Taparton Protect Marriage Takeover (do a search on google)? It is a great one off product for saving your marriage minus the headache. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my close friend Aubrey after a lifetime of fighting got amazing success with it.
dyou wanna be a marriage counselor?
you could tell that the marriage counselor really loves his job.
This series has really built a solid foothold.
Can someone explain the foothold part
How do i block your comments
it means "good foundation or strong foundation" meaning the series is now a staple of the LAHWF lol
Kristhian Benavides the LAHWF??
Ur a women ofc ud like this shit fk this video
I'm not even married and I want to be counseled by this guy.

@@robotman5435 HEE HEE HA HAA POOOOOOO

yooooooo for real
Chatting with a murderer, obviously one who had time in prison and is now on a good path
Toineuchiha chatting with an active serial killer
Genuinely would love to see this.
sounds like it'll go like that episode of dexter when he kills that therapist lol
pedophiles are fucking immature ass holes
Good idea
I think every couple should watch this video, it would help a lot.
I don't think its some blind trust thing because he has a certificate. What the counselor was saying seemed to make a lot of sense. If the couples are willing to put in work, why shouldn't they be compatible? The obviously care about each other and are willing (and should be able) to do it. He did mention that if they aren't putting in the work it might be time. For the most part though, what he said made logical sense.
Letting that one lady impact your opinion in another therapist is like doing what you're complaining she was doing. Letting something from the past overtake your perception of current reality without thinking.
Not if you're married to a narcissist.
gave me chills when the counselor talked about couples hooked on technology and watching stuff together while on their phone and whatnot and how that's destructive to a relationship. I've felt that with my exes before so it really hit home. Great insight, man
Same here, and I feel it's a lot worse with asian couples.
@@yannickvankerkhove5371 How is it worse for Asian couples?
@@RUclipssuckscock I can tell from personal experience that people in Asian countries are way more hooked to their smartphones than European people.
Easily one of the top chatting with vids so far. Easily. Thx Andrew, good topic, interview, and interviewee.
agreed. this guy has really thought a lot about everything he's talking about and honestly has really refreshing, therapeutic views on how to live life and treat love.
:)
i like the person you're trying to become, Andrew. Leveling up, while other youtubers are still after views.
1000% agree yes!
it's just too bad he did for comparison, huh?
Why you gotta reply to a two year old comment.
@@danialshamsi Cheeky necropost.
I have no clue why I am watching this, but It's so relaxing.
Loved the comment.
same i watched like 36 of these

Should of asked him how to solve the "Where do you want to eat" argument.
"I need an answer, we about to break up over this shit"
Timdeuces You mean the “I don’t care” this is the issue.
This age-old dilemma has been tentatively solved pending further testing. The male is supposed to ask the female "Guess where I'm taking you to eat?!" Hopefully she responds with some specific eatery. The male then says, "You got it! Darn! You're so good at figuring me out." Then the male takes her to eat there.
asking is what triggers an argument.
"what do you want!?! It is not that simple! "
You're really getting good at steering the conversation and asking the right questions! Can't wait to see more. Keep it up, Andrew.
are you his mother?
He definitely picked the right career.
Hey Its Mingju say I do so he can counsel us
This guy should have his own youtube channel

Smolders I’m broke as hell and I feel like he gave me a free therapy lesson and free tools to make my relationship better. That’s why I like Andrew, he prob used to be broke too and gets it
This guy is pretty cool, I now know stuff to apply to relationships, and I will cause this dude seems like he knows what he's talking about.
Yeah, you can tell he's authentic but still professional.
I especially like his thoughts on counselling spanning over 2 years is ridiculous. A counsellor is paid well, but I would rather pay more for a shorter period of time with one interested in getting results. The old cliche of lying on a couch talking about your problems is old school. I think most modern men know how to grow a pair and make changes instead of droning on about problems without looking for a solution. That applies to couples too. Good marriages have open communication. If you can't get the dialogue going at home, get it going with help of a counsellor, but don't leave the meter running! Let the counsellor know your story, but get real world homework to do when you leave the office. Good therapists want to solve your issues, not just leave "the meter running" for years.
You need to do a part 2 with this guy. Super interesting conversation.
I'm not even married and this opened my eyes totally what an amazing chatting with. Awesome work both.
that no eye contact conversation thing was really intriguing. I havent watched many episodes of chatting with but i may need to go back and watch more.
I can see how just going for a walk, and talking about ourselves, our hopes and dreams would help a lot. It's essentially a theraputic session
seriously proud of you andrew you went from interviewing random hype youtubers for views to actually doing something useful and giving us new perspectives and giving people a plat form
I’m married and have two small children and work in the social work field with many therapist friends. All of this is great, useful information. My husband and I do not go to therapy, but these are all things we work on together. I firmly believe love, after its initial “honeymoon phase” is a choice. You have to wake up every day and choose to love the other person and choose to put effort into your relationship. I feel movies have given a false representation as to what “Love” is, like it’s a magical cure all and can magically get you through anything thrown your way. When in reality, you have to put in so much work. This was one of my favorite “chatting with” episodes. Nicely done.
im only 21 but this video has given me a whole new outlook on marriage and relationships. I am in a very new relationship (not incredibly serious at the moment but i would like it to be) and i think all this information in this video is helpful to start a good foundation for the future. best chatting with yet. i think this is the first serious youtube comment i have ever posted.
Y'all still together? If yes how is it?
Don’t get married. Ever. If you do avoid marriage counseling. It’s a waste of time and money much like marriage itself.

One of the most solid, unbiased, and realistic analysis of what human relationships truly are and the core qualifiers that could to make it successful. Thank you for your presentation.
you should make this series into a podcast as well and put it on streaming sites, it would work well in that format as a compliment to video
This man is so pleasing to watch talk, such a palatable face. Sounds weird but that’s the best way I can describe it.
This would really give a lot of help for couples who are struggling with their marriage. No relationship is perfect but if you understand and support each other, there will never be a strong storm that you definitely can't win.
Andrew!!! this is another one of my fave interviews! I just commented on how I loved the expert on narcissism one as well. This video was so incredibly insightful. I've grown up to realize that relationships are constant work, work and effort that HAS to come from both parties involved. I truly believe that through hard work and commitment that couples can overcome almost anything- I won't say "everything" because sometimes that's not true. This therapist was so insightful. Love love love this!!!
Shoutout to the therapist, he is very well spoken and has a satisfying way of explain concepts. Well done.
married to a councelor, they probably pull up notebooks everytime they argue
We do! Lol
@police-and-military-are-welfare-whores nice
Premarital counseling is great. My husband and I did it. It's been two years and just this past weekend we were having a disagreement over something important and we looked back together on what the counselor said and it helped us work it out in a healthy, non confrontational manner. We rarely have arguments and I attribute that partly to getting a solid foundation on conflict resolution before marriage.
This guy is fantastic. Very knowledgeable, well spoken. I really enjoyed this episode l. These Spoken withs are really coming along. So much potential here.
Keep going Andrew, people are really liking this content, and I think a big part of it is the regularity. Keep the grind!
Hey Andrew, just wanna say you're killing it with these videos. It's awesome you're creating the content that you really want to, even if the views aren't quite as high.
This is so reassuring and affirming to me! I see so many examples of really unhealthy relationships among friends and of course on TV, but it's great to hear from a professional that the work my partner and I are doing and the things we value and prioritize are really likely to lead to a long and healthy relationship! I love this series, Andrew, and I think it's really interesting and useful.
Congrats on this interview Andrew Hales. Your questions were deep and intelligent even with a trace of charming awkwardness and playfulness that made you the man that you are, as your signature. I think I'll translate this for my blog. Thank you. :)
Andrew: Here is some quality content.
Me: Thank you kind sir.
Slima thanks for this transcript frend

Wow... this was truly eye-opening / amazing. You can tell how sharp the counselor is.
Loved all of the great tidbits of information in this episode.
Keep up the great work.
One of the best interviews I`ve seen so far. This guy is amazing.
Keep going with the chatting with.. this one affected my life at very personal level. Good stuff
Andrew, could you put your ‘chatting withs’ series on a podcast format? The problem is I have no time to sit and watch these videos but would love to listen to them on the way to work, etc.
could you download the videos into MP3s or MP4s onto your iPod or phone
get RUclips premium and play it in the background.
I learnt a lot from this Chatting With. Very intelligent man.
Very informative chat. You should consider chatting with a psychotherapist
Or just a regulartherapist.
Danny S.
Why would he chat with a mentally ok therapist?
Danny S. lol
Who would ever want to be in the presence of a psycho rapist?... O_o
This is one of my favorite “chatting with” you’ve done. Such good information. I need more!!!
Communication is so key... I remember my aunt and her husband coming to my house who were having 'issues' and my parents sat them down in the kitchen table to talk about their relationship and what problems they're having. I was in my room listening to this and thought how beautiful people are to help one another... while I'm all alone depressed in my room having never experienced a romantic relationship at 23 yo... fml lol
Cool video! This was quite interesting and he says some great things. I liked how he talked about the importance of trust. Awesome seeing these Chatting With series vids doing well! Keep up the great content Andrew! :)
GoldJacketLuke its Luke 👍
Really like these series Andrew, more so than the pranks. Keep it up!
idk whomever was the first marriage counselor you asked to be in your video, but im glad that they rejected. because i have learnt a lot from this video and im glad that i have met with allen wagner
This series is great, it's amazing how much this channel has grown.
Try doing one interview where you halfway through stop asking questions and just stare at them until they leave
Andrew i have been a fan of yours since many years, but right now you are taking it to another level !
Simply GREAT STUFF !! and also please do more videos on informational and deep concepts like this.
that whole bit about couples coming home and just "checking out"...and how destructive it is when we don't connect...solid gold observation!! this is a GOOD counselor...he understands relationships very well it seems!! good pick...
such a genuine guy, totally professional
Andrew, you're freaking killing it. I think you're audience is warming up to this stuff. And it's always interesting.
This guy is interesting because he has real experience. No hypotheses, and more detail than statistics.
This interview is really good. I really like the structure and depht that Allen puts in his arguments.
At first I wasnt very hyped about "chatting with" but now I really enjoy it and look forward to the next. Keep it up Andrew

SO SO GOOD! Wish we could remove the stigma that you only need counselling if you're really messed up, I love that he sees people short term and gives them better methods :)
This was excellent, Andrew! Kudos to the guy for coming on too
Seriously...I just finished watching and I have learned so much. Great video Andrew.
This is such an incredible video. I was glued. You were asking really great questions and he had really great answers.

loving this damn series
My favorite chatting with so far. Keep it up man
The trust he is talking about is control. Free-flowing love is full of trust. Trust in life that this love will last exactly how it should last. Trust in yourself that you will find love again. Trust in the other that she/he also knows how to love. Free-flowing love is the only one with real trust. His trust is that of a prison. "Are the walls around me solid enough so I won't be able to move? Are the walls around my parter strong enough so she/he won't be able to move?" His trust is against spontaneity or discovery. It's a dead trust, not an alive thing. It is attachment, dependance, control, expectation and last but not least: fear. His trust is in relationship with fear, not with love. It is a negative trust. Two birds encaging one another.
Really awesome series. Your questions are dead on, you truly are seeking answers.
Whose version of trust is a prison?
holy shit ur channel just opened up my head so much more.
thank you for this series, ur content everything. these topics are insanely good thank you
