2 Tamiya CC-02's Go Wild on the First Run!!! Twin Ford Bronco's!

- The first run of two Tamiya CC-02 Ford Bronco's is a video of two trucks and two halves! We start off sensibly climbing a nice trail together at normal trail speed, but once at the top we went a little crazy! My Bronco is the Light blue/green truck and the dark metallic blue Bronco was built and driven by my grat pal, Rob @robbrennanrc
Location: Sandy Bottom AKA Hartlebury Common, Kidderminster.
Both CC02's are stock with ball bearings, locked rear diffs, open front diffs and the high speed gear kit option.

Gotta say dude that was a very well thought out video, and funny too. Start off with a leisurely trip with two crawlers then cut to the dramatic rock track and start ripping around and jumping. Funny outtakes too. Top stuff.
Hi pal, glad you enjoyed the flow of this video, you see I do think about continuity sometimes! 😅What amazed me though was just how well they coped with both low and high speed running, such versatile machines - we love 'em! But as you saw in those outtakes, they are a little, shall we say "top heavy"! 😅

Yeah, Mark! Who says a crawler needs to be slow? All these lovely action clips, the slo mos actually look strangely realistic!
The outtakes are great, not just the video bit but the audio is fantastic, all the argh and ugh and ha ha!

Oh yeah that was great fun mate. This is the sort of 'crawling' I can get on board with! I like the way it was all gentle at the start and then went bonkers. There is something very fun about a scale car racing around at non scale speeds. I used to enjoy driving my CC-01 like a rally car. Great edit and lovely camera work. Well I must say, I think that was up there with your best videos, for 1 people say the CC02 ain't no crawler, but watching this vid I would say "yes it is a crawler" but I also I love how half way through you n Rob said f*&k this and nailed them around 😂, seems to me tamiya made a crawler and a fun car. Absolutely loved it mate, I think this mite b Tamiya's unsung hero, it's a decent crawler but also a usual fun typical tamiya, how often does that happen 👌suits u sir, u ain't seen me roit 😂👊

Yeah I also hear some folk saying the CC02 ain't one thing or another, but like you said it really is great at many things! Glad you liked it pal! Yeah I was chuffed with how the shots came out but as you know it takes a lot of shooting just to cherry-pick the best clips. The slomo's were my favourite too!
As you know we are terrible drivers really, hence all the footage in the can that normally gets trashed being put to use as bloopers!
But fear not mate, both trucks came out remarkably unscathed, all 4 mirrors intact! Cheers my friend! 🍻😁👊👍

Do you think the CC02 chassis is too light? I feel like it bounces around quite a bit, what is your experience? Any weight down recommendations?
Oh wow, great to hear that you're enjoying the videos! I'm sure you will love building your CC02.
Personally, I prefer a light chassis and yes the CC02 is quite light. The only place I think I'll add weight is to the wheels, a set of steel beadlocks and some decent tyres would be a perfect upgrade! 😎👊👍
