    Good to hear about the midi-not-so-wide-possibilities, how is the recording quality as a soundcard to DAW?

    • @thepedalpicassos

      You can’t use this as an audio interface unfortunately… the USB port is only for updating software and backing up your presets to your computer! Hopefully, in a
      future update, they will let us use it as an audio interface!

    I have the VE-20 which I've had for years and served very well in both recording and gigging and just bought the VE-500 after seeing some nice choir like sounds generated from a single voice. I also like the idea of fine tuning everything from a PC much more eaiser that way like my Boss ME-80 for my guitar. Its also much smaller and lighter than previous Vocal fx units.

    Hello, I bought boss ve-50"
    I have noticed that when you use pitch correction or when you use ehnace the treble (and it is especially noticeable on the ''s''), the treble sound is not stable and is noticeable as some noise. Is it normal for this to happen when using these effects? thank you

    • @thepedalpicassos
      @thepedalpicassos  8 месяцев назад +1

      Wowsers…. I haven’t noticed that with my unit? What power supply are you running? I noticed it was noisy when I didn’t use a good quality power supply?

    • @victorblancoarcas

      @@thepedalpicassos thanks for your answer. I am using the original boss power adapter. The problem is that if I do an S (it is more noticeable when doing it sustained over time) the sound is not uniform.... and that happens especially with the pitch correction (the second effect on the list) and also with IMPROVEMENT (from the first effect on the list)

    • @thepedalpicassos
      @thepedalpicassos  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi there! Yes… it loops… but vocals only…
      No… it needs some sort of guitar, keyboard or backing track input so it can reference the chord correctly and give you the correct harmonies…
      Lastly… you can export your recorded loops per preset… so I’m not 100% sure… but that normally means you can import.wav files too!

      @thepedalpicassos  Год назад

      Hi mate! A lot of great questions here! Yes! It does work with a backing track, but there is only one input, so you can only have the guitar going or the backing track going, you can’t plug both into it at the same time. As for the outputs… there are two microphone outputs… but only one input… so I run one microphone output to the mixing desk and the other microphone output to my in ear monitors. For your last question… the VE-500 is by far the best unit for live performance… and yep… you can turn the harmonies on and off with an external Footswitch
