I have to give Rhett and Link a shout out for being so freaking good at picking amazing talent for the show. They have the best instincts about who will just glow on camera!
Honestly, a chef saying Josh is a joke is like Zurich Polytechnic flunking Einstein on the entrance exam. The way this channel brings trash and treasure together is so genius and inspiring.

Josh's cooking is the right kind of cooking! I don't need to see another person making the same recipe with slight variations! Joshs approach to cooking is the same as Cobra Kais answer to Karate! It's excessive but in the best way! .. FEAR DOES NOT EXIST IN HIS KITCHEN!
Yes! I think she even teaches cooking classes to children. She said it in a recent video and Josh was like “is that why you treat me like a kid all the time?”
she is the kindergarten teacher to Kindergarteners Josh and Trevor, and Vi who is a kid from grade 3 who's down in the kindergarten classroom helping out

I like watching mythical kitchen while I’m cooking, even though I’m never cooking anything I’ve seen them cook. It just motivates and inspires me to enjoy what I’m making.
You can really tell the food critic is gone by this point because the opening scene was palm heel striking garlic a dozen times unnecessarily until it was pulp. XD "Eeeeeeh, screw it, we got the okay from the guy, now we're back in business, I'MA PUNCH IT SO HARD." Like a restaurant owner trying to trick the health inspector. lol
I lowkey want a situation where the food critic forgot something in the studio and got back to it only to see the person he just praised for cooking not a moment ago, murdering a garlic with his bare palm heel strikes
Josh and team, a while back GMM did a chicken-fried-burger. At the time I owned a burger restaurant and the next day I chicken fried a burger and covered it in gravy, to try it myself (we cut it up and shared it with the team). Holy cow so good. I'd love to see that one given a serious redo on the mythical kitchen. Keep up the good work making food fun.
The Mythical Kitcheneers are best RUclips chefs. Y'all have fun and take silly chances that usually turn into great food. Strike first. Strike hard. No mercy.
Pretty sure everything in that episode of GMM looked worthy of an episode over here, but if it's got to be just one dish this was probably the one to go with
I feel like josh cooks how we actually cook, not calm and perfect, you forget things occasionally, you make it how you like it. My favorite food channel
This is the perfect example of the best kind of kitchen experimentation! Taking the flavours of one dish and delivering them via the method of another really teaches you so much about how the recipes function.
I work at Panda Express! This is so fun to watch, made me want to buy parmesan and just directly sprinkle it on the orange chicken like some sort of boneless wing
Just made this tonight. Josh, Nicole, you nailed it. I can’t believe this isn’t a staple at every Asian fusion restaurant around (actually, give it a couple years… I bet it will be there). The little crispy chicken chunks coated in slightly sweet, sticky tomato sauce…coupled with the bubbly crispy mozz and the basil. My extended family post dinner has already asked that I make this again for Christmas instead of Turkey! You nailed it Mythical Kitchen! Cheers!
Lol a couple weird coincidences occurred while watching this: 1. As you were talking about local recommendations in Burbank, I was literally driving through Burbank 2. I just recently remembered that you (Josh) & I totally went to the same high school together & are in the same graduating class & we definitely hung out with some of the same people & pretty sure we even had some classes together. (THHS - 2010). And then you mentioned something about running into people from high school. 🤣 Wish I knew back then that you also had a passion for cooking cause the only person I could relate to when it came to that was Brandon Conway. I ended up working as a banquets cook at the Ritz-Carlton immediately after graduating for like 5 years! No longer doing it as a profession, but I’m happy to see & know that you were able to turn it into a successful career ! Congratulations on all your success brotha 😊
Finally got around to making this, It's great, it hits a wild blending of the two things it's trying to be. My wife loves it, being able to taste both flavors individually and together!
Josh said to go watch one of his hammer throw videos so I did. I know nothing about the field events, I was exclusively a distance runner and didn't have any friends who threw anything so I really can't judge his form at all.
I aspire to have Josh's level of random knowledge about seemingly every topic. I've started googling any reference he makes. Never knew that toy was called kendama
I made this for my family. We all loved it. Definitely gonna make it again!!! Thanks, Josh, just a tip. You should make a Mythical Kitchen cookbook. I would buy it and many others would too
Finally made this. It was a hit with everyone. When I first started gathering the ingredients for this, I was confused as to why there was no orange in it. Then it dawned on me. Ohhhhhhh....it's the cooking technique of orange chicken. My best friend said she didn't think this sounded good for the same reason....she thought tomato sauce and orange sounded gross together. She ended up LOVING this. Amazing recipe y'all!
The only good thing about my crippling depression keeping up at night, is that I get to watch Josh’ crazy food creations in the first hr of the video being posted 🧚♀️✨❤️
I'm in the same situation with Depression. I hope it gets better for you. I'm struggling, but this channel takes the hurt away, even for just a little bit
Listen, Nekrogoblikon are really cool dudes and they’re all super nice and their music is genuinely fun. My mind was blown when I saw Josh in that video, because it combined my very niche interest and slightly less niche interest. To hear a reference to them in this unrelated video just made my day.
I used to be in the "you cant overcook a chicken thigh" camp until i ordered the thighs from Wingstop...somehow they managed to fry them so hard/long that it made them dry and almost inedible
To be honest been to a few Italian restaurants and they don't use parm. The topping is more like mozzarella, Romano or Fontina. Think chicken parm is just a name anymore
thats because chicken Parmigiana is not named for the use of Parmigiano-riggiano cheese but because it resembles another dish called Parmigiana that uses eggplant in tomato sauce and cheese. which was named after the city in Italy Parma where originated from, also Parmigiano-riggiano cheese originated from there too which is why there is confusion.
@@rmkarros thanks. I couldn't remember how Mario Batali explained it but your statement reminds me of how he used to say things on his Food Network shows

I love the idea of this combo. Normally I mix the left over panda like a burrito or something like that. Thank you for always being inspiring to experiment
Y'all watching this...make this recipe. For real, make this recipe this week. I made it last night for my family, and it's incredible. I've only made two Mythical Kitchen recipes, but both are now family favorites (the Mtn Dew wings are fantastic). Please, do yourselves a favor and make this food for you and friends, family, coworkers, etc, this week.
Paused, and went over there. If you go to the playlists, the vids uploaded by "Chris Hamilton" shows Josh mid-transformation. Like he's a cocoon man lol. Doesn't even look like the same person. It's amazing, honestly.
Tried making this on my birthday, and it totally slaps! Just fried the chicken in a wak instead of deep frying it, but I feel like it turned out just the same!

I am still waiting to see if we ever will get a mythical cookbook based on what all been cooked so far on this channel.
im a GMM lover, that doesnt really buy merch , but that i would buy
It's probably in the works right now. Those things take time and its not going to be the first cookbook Josh has done
Cookbook… I want to go to the Mythical Kitchen Restaurant!! 🙌🙌 Make it happen Josh!
YES PLS
It would be pretty easy to compile all the recipes from the videos that have the recipe in the description. But past that they’d have to produce it.

Yes! I think she even teaches cooking classes to children. She said it in a recent video and Josh was like “is that why you treat me like a kid all the time?”

I was so confused at the cheese part, because I had apparently forgotten this was chicken parm. I was just excited about the Orange chicken.
But theres no parmesan in it
Or orange.
I was waiting for pasta. I can make my own depression meal of slapping cheese on my panda order... At least didn't have to make it nugget form
