As a professional chef myself, when Josh just looked up to the sky and said “Just get it together dude” to himself, I felt that so deep in my soul. I have to tell myself that every day when I walk in to work 😂
There's an anime Azumanga Daioh, that I've watched countless times (it's short and just about some girls in high school, a good comfort show) and the teacher tells one of them to get it together, so she literally spends the whole class saying "Get it together, get it together" and misses everything lol. So that's what the phrase invokes in me now.
As a non-professional chef and not even an amateur chef, I just felt that in my soul for every day in general
@@confushisushi omg, an Azumanga Daioh fan!

I genuinely love how honest he is about addressing his insecurities as part of the process of becoming a better chef. It makes the whole process feel like it's more important than just making food.
Hate to be a broken record, but as a fellow serious adhd'er, it couldn't _possibly_ be a more accurate statement
His joy at the mint turning out to be a hit? Vicarious confident fistpump on my part ;)
As much as we acknowledge Josh’s amazing culinary skills, he’s actually an elite story teller. Plus the way Meggie said “I know” to Josh like he was a 3 year old pointing out something obvious was so funny but also wholesome af 😂
More of a ranter but still enjoyable to watch.
Definitely a Bard in TTRPG'S.

Why isn't there an episode dedicated to all the dishes josh can hide bologna in?
Hide?! Hide?! Josh does not hide bologna in dishes Josh embraces bologna he’d turn it into some sort of Filet Mignon de Bologna, with a cream sofa reduction or something.
@@anufoalan theres going to be doritos in there somewhere

I love how we have entered an era where people are hearing about GMM through the Mythical Kitchen channel, and not the other way around.
I'd say that qualifies this as a resounding success.
I had the weird journey of knowing about Rhett and Link pre GMM, kinda fell off of that and then years later Mythical Kitchen starts showing up because I watch Babish
@@Lucarioguild7
This was precisely my journey too
My best friend had no idea that Rhett and Link had anything to go with Mytbical kitchen. It was WILD to find that out!
@@alyssaferry600 I bet!
@@DemonCipher13 :) Its literally what Rhett said he wanted for GMM. In his Last Meal ep, i think, he talked about handing over the reins, seeing success as helping others carry the torch. And in many regular eps talked about his/their fears about relevancy.
I research online authenticity, so it's been an absolute treat hearing them be genuine about longterm youtube/influencer success.
2:47 What’s that? You’re on your third VARIANT of this sandwich? This is the Tom Holland’s Spider-Man of PB and J fried chicken sandwiches. Building upon and paying tribute to the success and the victories of the previous two variants, which is what NWH and Mythical Kitchen is all about.
And also, this sandwich looks amazing!
thank you
Josh’s energy in this video has me thinking that a crossover with the guys over at Watcher would be great.
@7:20 all within 40 seconds he:
- admits he goes hands free at the urinal
- gets chili pepper in his eye
- doesn't even get the chili into the pan (it sticks to the spatula)
- drops the brown sugar bowl into the other pot
- forgets the soy sauce
and that was just 40 seconds. this whole episode has been the most chaotic Josh energy I've seen in a minute and that's saying something haha 😂😂
4:46 Josh says they want the pickling liquid to just be warm enough to dissolve the sugar, which he at no point adds to the mixture. It just sits in its little bowl. He even gestures to it when he says this line, but still does not add it.
YES thank you hahaha drove me crazy
hahahha I was wondering when tf he put sugar in the pot
Right lol in the recipe it says 1 tbsp of sugar in the pot but not in the video
Adhd at its finest
I would love to see an episode with Guy Fieri tasting one of Josh's crazy genius inventions. PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN!
I was JUST thinking about this the other day!!! Would be amazing to have Guy Fieri on an episode! I think their senses of humor would gel well
Hes met him before, so this would be so perfect.
I've only really gotten into Mythical Kitchen in the last few weeks, so I've been diving into a lot of content made in the last few months, so I've kinda assembled an opinion of Josh as a hilarious, charismatic, PUT TOGETHER AND COMPOSED performer and chef with a semi-regular out of left field hit.
It was super fun to watch how completely ADHD this was. And I still think the world of Josh
If you haven't already seen them, the Fancy Fast Food episodes with Emily (and all of them tbh) are so funny, would reccomend to anyone
Please go back and watch Food Fears! It really cemented how much I love the chaos and ingenuity of this channel!
I love it when you talk to yourself in the kitchen in order to walk yourself through the recipe. I feel a little less crazy. You got yourself together, dude! That sandwich looked amazing! ❤🎉😊
At time stamp: 4:45, Josh mentions that he’s “trying to dissolve the sugar …”
WHAT SUGAR?!?! He totally didn’t put it in the brine. You can still see it in the ramekin🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol, I didn't even realize XD
They definitely zoomed in on it for the joke
Sometimes Josh is like the Rain Man of RUclips chefs.
Josh reminding me that we’re similar ages with that Sea-biscuit reference.
That film introduced me to Moby
I cannot believe he isn't quite 30 yet (he's one month away)
Looks good. I wish we lived in the future and could smell and taste what Josh makes after watching each video. Everything always looks delicious
Replying to your comment from two months in the future: Sadly, we still can't smell and taste through the screen. Humanity hasn't given up hope though. I think Elon Musk is working on something. Perhaps some nice person from even further in the future will keep us updated.
“When you think of PB&J you think of immense pain” as someone w a peanut allergy, yes
3am. Can't sleep. Now hungry because of this beautiful creation the great Josh has made
Yiiiis
What an honor that you showed our Flamin' Hot Elote Pizza! And thanks again for being our favorite cooking/comedy/chaos channel!!
Its a good job they have the recipe written in the description. I don't think i could perform all 20 tasks that josh is doing simultaneously even with 10,000 hours of practice.
I'm really only here to listen to Josh rant about something insane and make light of his harrowing life so far.
all these people are hella privileged lmfao,, far from "harrowing",,
@@310BPM sorry for exaggerating in a RUclips comment. I promise I will never do it again. Please find it in your heart to forgive me x
As a fellow person with adhd I could follow it somewhat easily when I followed along but that might just be me and I also haven’t tried any of the really intense recipes yet
"You didn't need the other Spider-Men in there" is maybe the first thing Josh has ever said that I have actively and vehemently disagreed with lol
He knows a lot of things. Comic book movies is clearly not one of them.
Also his opinion that Tom is the best. I enjoy his Spider-man and honestly don't like Andrew's (his Spidey is far too arrogant for my taste), but Tobey will always be number one.
@@englishatheart I thought Josh was a paragon of millennial values and here I am, betrayed and disgruntled 😩
I would usually watch the videos with subtitles on and then I would have to rewind to catch what Josh was saying, but then I realized that nothing Josh says really matters and so I turned off the subtitles and it has become a much more enjoyable watching experience. I love you, Josh. ❤
also, the subtitles said "a Cooterman's" instead of "accoutrements" because of how Josh said it,, lol,,
3:24 "get it together dude."
oh I felt that
Josh can and has gotten away with plenty of crimes but Spiderman slander cannot be one of them.
I was just thinking the same thing
Lol 😂
Yes, this is where we take a stand
He’s right and you know it.
Slander is spoken. In print it's libel.
You say Tobey didn't want to be there, but you haven't seen the bloopers. He was having a good time and getting paid in the process.
Always gotta be someone to ruin the humor 🙄
@@c9566 always gotta be someone like you to whine about everything under the sun
He knows a lot of things. Comic book movies is clearly not one of them.
I think Tobey was definitely tired of the limelight for awhile but seems like he's come back around recently especially seeing all the old and new fans still loving him
loved all of the crew interactions this episode :D
If josh had a stroke, nobody would be able to tell because his normal thought and speech is already on par with a stroke
Josh talking about anything roughly about superhero movies is hilarious lmao
Years ago I ordered peanut butter and sriracha on a burger once at a burger place that offered them as toppings just to prove that it *could* work (though I didn't actually know at the time) and it has honestly become one of my favorites. I literally was eating one as I started this episode in fact!
Peanut butter with a spicy, sweet, and fragrant sauce absolutely works on burgers/sandwiches.
If you like more sweet, less garlic, try sweet chili sauce instead, or make the recipe Josh showed us here! My point is this concept is totally accessible, and worth the try.
I'm sure it's not for everybody, but I am equally sure it is for a good number of people who think they won't like it!
When josh spilled the water, and said get it together dude. I felt that. I liked.
I feel like Josh was up until 2 am watching Spider-man NWH. Woke up at 6 am to go to the gym. Went to the office. Chugged a red bull. Finally, made this. Felt a bit more chaotic than normal lol
Not going to lie that looks amazing. If Josh did a pop up in la I'd be down to try some of his random creations. Keep up the passion for coming up with random foods.
Annnnnd Keith needs to try this for it to be certifiably the best chicken sandwich. Let's goooooo 😜
I watch this show every 6 months or so since its started, love how Josh progressively gets more jacked as time goes on, keep it all up!
Hi dad
Josh gives off " i can be best friends with anyone" vibes and i love it.
It’s painfully obvious that Josh didn’t sleep the night before this was recorded
PLEASE we need a Mythical Kitchen style Chopped series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rhett, Link, and Davin can be the judges!!!!!!!!!!!! Josh vs V vs Nicole vs Travor
Don’t you dare hate on Toby’s spider man! He paved the way! He walked so Andrew and Tom could run!
He knows a lot of things. Comic book movies is clearly not one of them.
He should have been a brilliant scientist like in the comics!
“Your portrayal of Spider-man had him as an average fighter but a brilliant scientist!”
Who is Toby? Tobey Maguire is who plays Spider-man. :-P
@@shabros8793 Can you please stop copying and pasting this same comment every time?
"no one ever called him out on that".....Dr. Strange did....there was a whole bit about it that lead to the scene on the bridge with the dean of admissions.
I just learned that I don’t have to listen to josh rant!! I can just fast forward 10,20,30 seconds and he’s magically done. So amazing!!
Never clicked on a video so fast. Josh and chicken. A good morning to me
Am I the only one who thinks Josh changing glasses really makes him look different? It took me off guard at first, like they replaced him with an almost perfect doppelgaenger.
I feel like this episode has a lot of chaotic good energy. Josh is clearly having a rough day but he's making the best of it. Feels like me most mornings getting my two small children ready, lol.
I've never heard anyone slurp their food as loudly as Josh.
It infuriates me. I love the show but the chaos and the slurping sets me off!!
Then you need to watch Quang Trang 😂 he's loud af!
It wasn't just himself that he was trying to get admission into MIT but also MJ and Jacob, who don't have access to Tony Stark's stuff
It's not like he couldn't get them access as well.
Chopped competition with all 4 chefs. Rhett, Link, and Stevie judge it
Someone mentioned making a cookbook using the favorite foods from GMM cooked by the Mythical Kitchen. I definitely want to see that as a reality. A+ idea random internet stranger!
I'm pretty sure they put the recipes from mythical kitchen in the description, but a cookbook would be neat
@@skyblade57 they do on like 90% of them but some of the episodes of GMM have things that aren’t episodes (yet)
You know, it's hard to tell if Josh enjoyed, or loathed Spiderman throughout this lol.
5:19 so we’re just not even gonna pretend like Josh was wrong and Dr strange did in fact yell at Peter for breaking the space-time continuum to get into college 🤐
Or that Peter didn't even do it so HE could get into college. He did it so that the people he loved could get into college. 🤐🤐
Rubbing salting into the cucumbers is something that I learned to do from you guys years ago and it really makes a difference!
Oh man Josh, that Peter Parker college rant absolutely slayed me. Everything from content to tone...so damn funny.
Joshes marvel opinions aint even close to how good his food is
Good mythical kitchen is where I went when good mythical morning wasn't hardcore enough
PB, Jelly, and pickles? …This is Rhett & Link’s revenge for the bile cheesecake, innit?
7:22 The biggest Man flex that Josh is ever said on the show… Lol
Josh really is a food mad scientist. Also I am totally making this for my wife and I, she loves panda orange chicken and I love satay, so perfect mix!
You seem like you’d rather be discussing the new Spiderman than cooking. Did you need the check, Josh?
Crowd sourcing joke really cracked me up for some reason lol
Shout out to the pretzel bun.
never ever ever ever watched any episode of Mythical kitchen and I've been watching GMM for years.
This changes today!
- What's your favorite episode of Mythical Kitchen, Billy?
- I like the one where Josh talks about Marvel for a loooooong time.
I'm seriously considering trying cook this, or at least some version of this. It really appeals to the childish side of my brain, which is probably most of my brain 💜. Not trying to say the dish is childish, just me. Love Mythical Kitchen. Umm, I will NOT be using the mint
Definitely worth making. It's delicious... But yeah, I left out the mint too
Don't shy away from the fresh mint! It'll bring a layer of freshness that will simultaneously gently cool the heat of the Thai chili! Probably! I dunno, Josh can I get some backup here on my presumption? Eh, nevermind. I've moved on to a completely random and new thought process.
I feel like mint is not the move, but fresh Thai basil could be the move.
This morning for breakfast I put Chik-fil-A chicken nuggets on a frozen protein waffle with real maple syrup and leftover hot honey sauce from Hardees and ate it while watching this video.
I think Josh is rubbing off on me a bit.
Anyone else's mouth watering? I am gonna recreate this for dinner. Josh never lets us down. Love from Michigan ❤️
Not gonna lie, I recently watched Peacemaker, and I genuinely thought for a good 10 minutes that the guy who plays Vigilante was Josh... and the worst part? The dude is supposed to be a psychopath and the first thing I thought was, "Huh, it's Josh!"
I can't under that now you're so right 😳
Sometimes I wonder if Josh is purposefully trying to get a rise out of people. Then I watch episodes like this and I no longer wonder. ;)
Josh and Nicole should do a fancy fast food showdown, who can make the best fancy chipotle burrito bowl.
Josh was adorably off his meds today 🤣🤣
Oh my gosh this looks soo dang good 🤩 I literally thought of peanut sauce when I read PBJ chicken sandwich! And that jelly sauce he made.. yummy 🤤
Not a time goes by when I try to watch an MCU film and I'm not asleep within 10 minutes. Superhero films are to me what Westerns are to my 60 year old dad: nap time.
I need Josh’s input on this. I put peanut butter in my chicken ramen, makes it like Pad Thai, the peanut butter fits well with the celery salt in the chicken powder, and makes the broth into a nice sauce. All my friends say I’m weird but they can’t see that I’m just a culinary genius. Anyone have thoughts?
Honestly sounds amazing, personally want to try it with crunchy peanut butter
My favorite thing about this video is Josh outing himself for not paying attention even a little bit during Spider-Man.
Yu are HIGH! "Tom Holland is the best spiderman" LOL
I'm making this for dinner tomorrow. Going to do a combination of Mythical Kitchen and Binging with Babbish. For the chicken I am going to marinate boneless skinless chicken thighs in Babbish's dill pickle marinade and seasoned flour mixture. Then I'll use MK's sauces. This is going to be epic. Thank you Josh. Stay weird!!
I made this recipe and holy moly it was truly the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. It might even be the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
as a fellow millennial with self-diagnosed adhd, when josh gets completely unhinged like this I feel tremendous comfort with equal levels of second-hand embarrassment and worry for his well-being
We need to know where to get those copper pots and pans 🤩
Favorite thing is when Josh starts explaining why you do this technique over another then immediately gets distracted
So at the end when the sandwich dripped did it fall on Rhett's seat and that's what got on his pants in today's episode of GMMore?
Yo, I need this sandwich. This might be my favorite thing you have ever made.
I occasionally thank the universe for producing Josh.
I am SO happy to hear someone else got the same vibe from Tobey!
Josh’s marvel and Spider-Man theory’s were everything lol
Side note: spider man is my favorite and Tom H makes a good Spider-Man
For some reason Josh ranting about No Way home and Marvel movies added to the experience of watching the video.
Josh is hands down my favourite chef
RUclips works in mysterious ways!
I was just thinking about how I wanted to see Josh make food with ramen then auto play said yessir
There’s a small local burger joint in my town that makes a pb&j burger that’s pretty great. They also make a burger with a jalapeño patty, grape jelly and a fried egg which is also great. But then you can go freestyle and add peanut butter to the egg burger, and my god, what a creation
I’d love to see Josh come up with a Spicy Chicken Sandwich recipe using the chicken kickers coating from Domino’s. That’d be incredible. 🤩
20 minutes of Josh not understanding the plot to spider man no wan home, still great content
Not gonna lie, my favorite part of this show is seeing the rest of the office at spork time
The amount of excitement I got
Somehow this episode seems intensly like Josh just didnt take his Medikinet today, even though I dont feel like he normally takes adhd medication. what a wild ride
Chef Josh is like Jesse Plemons' fun little buff brother who Jesse is jealous of for being fun at Thanksgiving
I agree with you on a lot of things, but Tobey is best.
He knows a lot of things. Comic book movies is clearly not one of them.

@@characterblub I honestly didn't know that, that is awesome!
If you can do a PB&J Burger you can do it to a Chicken Sandwich! I'm here for it!
It's probably a bit late for any of you to have interest in reading these comments, but a brewery I got to sells a burger they call 'The Lunchbox Burger'. It's a cheder bacon cheeseburger, topped with peanut butter and fig jam. It makes NO sense, but it's GREAT.
I don't know why, but watching this got me really in the mood for a peanut butter burger
This sandwich seems very close to the Dee Snyder burger at Grill Em All in LA. Which is one of my favorite things to eat in LA. Also I love that Josh's hot takes on Spiderman No Way Home sound exactly like my hot takes. Finally someone who agrees with me!
Thai Basil would have given that same freshness with the added bonus of sticking with the theme.
