What most announcers and people haven't noticed is that Ensley, after bouncing off the wall, took the time to open his glove to see if he still had the ball in his glove before completing his back-flip. That realization gave him the confidence to finish the roll with the Hulk Hogan pose which sent his Tennessee teammates and their fans into a frenzy. With that kind of pandemonium created, demoralization for Texas A&M was at a maximum.
