Nice!! Old grind that works great on the street!!
QUickes light to light cars Ive run are usually mild build good torque and hold it there. Been smoked when I was younger by cars like yours so much for that big cam I had that sounded good. lol

    I'm convinced,that ford's-289 from a 65mustang could have been a Holmes wrecker-option! I'm thinking raw pulling-power!👌

    That sound is 🍒
Definitely sounds period for a typical street cam of the 60s.

Thank you! I have since fixed a few exhaust leaks and it now sounds even better. Runs pretty strong too! This system is pretty restrictive. You might see a video up soon of a higher flowing system being installed and tested. Thank you for your view and your positive feedback!

@@TCBGarage143 - if I can make a suggestion... if you want high flow without a ton of volume, you might want to try an X-pipe into a single Flowmaster 50 series Big Block SUV with dual inlets/outlets. You still get distinct tone from the left and right bank, but it flows great and really helps with throttle response. The X-pipe will make sure you maximize your scavenging potential before it enters the muffler.

Right now I’m leaning toward an x-pipe with 2.5” pipe and a pair of Delta Flow 40’s and tailpipes all the way back. I’ve always liked the idea of putting 50’s on this car for sound, but they’re just too big. Even if I did only run one. Thank you for the comment.

@@TCBGarage143 - Did they quit making the 50 Series Low Profile?

On that I’m not sure. They’re just so long compared to the length of the 40’s.
