Thanks! We are hoping it’ll get down in the mid/low 11s with suspension work, 4.56s and getting the trans to reliably shift at 7000 rpm. That may mean getting a TKX.
Yes, I think you’re right. It has caltracs and the way they are setup it’s throwing the tires down way too hard. It just has stock replacement Monroe shocks at all 4 corners too which isn’t helping.
Damn, that Mustang is looking fine!
Nice I had the same problem with the trac lock went to a spool Fixed everything
Lost a little time at the starting line. Nice running car.
That's a true 289 HI PO! I love the 65' coupe and fastback. Thanks.
Not a 289 my man 302 +.060 over
Yes, sir! and a very strong bored out 302 it is. wish the 289 Hi Po could run as fast as your 310 cu. It's a screamer.
Tuff Windsor in an early Mustang doesn't get much better would run a better time with a trick auto

I feel like your traction bars aren't preloaded correctly and the front end is to tight. Nice car and it has the power and potential to be quicker.

Great video. What caused the trac lok issue?
Not sure yet, he is planning to pull it apart and going to 4.56 gears it may just need some new frictions or something.
