Get your steps in with this fast paced and upbeat 20 minute walking workout you can do anywhere. The aim of this workout is to walk/ step as fast as you can, to ensure you burn maximum amount of calories.
Therefore, this is NOT TO THE BEAT workout but speed focused. I usually film without any audio, which helps me stay focused on the speed, rather than the beat.
PLEASE NOTE- Some smart devices don't count some of the moves as a step, therefore I wouldn't be discouraged if you don't hit your target as it might not be a true representation of the steps you did.
The timer is on for 50s and no rest in between.
REMEMBER the amount of steps is also dependent on the pace.. The faster your march the more steps you will get. It is expected to feel a little sore in your arm as I have incorporated a lot of arm movements.

How many steps did you get?
I got just over 2600 steps and burned 152kcal.
Most importantly it's a fun and easy on the joints workout you can do anywhere.
WOW, What an amazing fast paced workout for my 57 years old body and no negative impact on the knees. I am glad I discovered this channel.

I'm almost 5 months postpartum and injured my core going back to my pre pregnancy workouts too soon. I randomly decided to type in walking workouts and I am SO HAPPY that I clicked on your video. I got 170 active calories and 123bpm average heart rate on this, but I only had 20 minutes in between getting home and having to rush out for an errand, so I was thrilled to use this workout, even though it is one of your old ones. I so appreciate these walking workouts. I held 1.2 pound weights and wore my sneakers so I got a bit extra I think from these.

Music beat should match body movements. Frustrating.
If you were to stay in tune to the music you could end up with a very ineffective workout.
The level of the effort should stay consistent rather than lower simply because the music is slowing down. This is how I like to train but I understand this is not to everyone’s liking and that’s why I put a disclaimer.
