I hate that it shows the "@" now instead of our screen names. Anyway, Another great video Earl/ Giving me so many ideas! I wont ever go for your kind of speed record as I can see the bikes limitations. I used to have some speed wobble with my stock wheels after a few crashes. Dont get it on my street tires now but I am stock sill. But if you notice the steering twitch during shutdown then the servo itself may be a little hurt. One thing that helped out with slop and response for mine was adding the GPM aluminum servo saver and using the extra spring that comes with the bike. I no longer get that "wondering" center where from time to time you have to trim it left/right. Also there is no dampener fluid. If you see my rebuild video you can see I replaced the entire nose of the bike and there is ZERO fluid up there. May want to get the aluminum upper frame section one as well. My bike is still doing 42 being all aluminum now. I think your biggest issue is wheel/tires. I think the wheels need some weight. I was thinking Vitavon because they do add weight down low and they are perfectly machined.... problem is they are for the off road tires... wonder if they will make a street tire version? But those should also help with the speed wobble. Kudos sir on the record and keep up the great work. You have helped me a lot along the way!
Appreciate the support watching the horizon Losi podcast talking about the way they looked at this rc to get it working right was thinking as if it’s a 1 wheel rc just the rear tire and hat was there break threw on getting it to work and stay up I can see what they mean by that as it doesn’t really matter what the front does it will stay upright if the gyro is working that’s why i decided to make that function first on 2S then go for speed runs 👌
Yep, NICE Buddy!!!! Great Job! Super interested in this Project. I see this "LSR" category for the Pro Moto MX going Ballistic!!!! I see Custom bodies, aero experimentation, all on this base platform! You're the first I've seen on RUclips... so far...👍 I'm gonna do a search to see who else has this idea on RUclips! Cheers to ya Brotha! I'll be watching!
Sundays are definitely good speed run days. Well it’s moving in the right direction 65mph is mint ( for now lol ) I figured the smaller front tire would help with less rotating mass. The wobble must of been very minimal cause I couldn’t see any wobble in the video I’m definitely excited to see what you can get out of it once you start gearing it up 🤘🏼
Earl just getting home to look at the video Lois bike speed run look good 👍👍👍 Earl I hope that the step that you took to get rid of that be why don't work tank you Earl Moorhead 💯
@@earlmoorhead5555 you seemed to have some play in the servo saver connection to the folks and also make sure that the wheel doesn't need a spacer incase it has a small amount of play in it.
Mr details 👍its paying off for sure, excellent run Earl! Always interesting to see the process. I wonder when the tires will start causing issues with expansion or straight blowing up??
Are you certain the “Speed Wobble” isn’t from EMI/RF interference or harmonics from the gyro at speed which my be playing with the steering channel of the onboard Receiver (RX)? It appears the Wobble is pretty severe, more so than the “play” you demonstrate with the servo saver on the bench. The choke (small ferrite donut the servo wires pass through is there to help reduce EMI/RF interference. You shortened the lead and reinstalled the ferrite choke, generally you need to loop the wire through the choke as many times as you can so that it has the ability to do its job. Also, you may want to be certain the servo wires, RX, and its antenna are routed free and clear of the servo wires leading to the gyro. The Gyro is likely putting off all sorts of RF noise that we can’t see or hear - which my be causing glitches or otherwise undesired operation. I hope this helps, keep up the great work.
the more i see the supermoto look, the more i need one! 😅 is the remaining wobble coming from the servo saver link to steering rods or gyro this time round do you think? i know gyros can be a pain sometimes to get rid of wobble.
Earl throw a reefs in there and metal horn no servo saver I did that on my k8s with reefs beast servo and it's solid as can be. Ditch the servo saver I say...
If yours goes that fast on 3s motor rpm is 47-48,000. I put at 6500kv on 2s so motor rpm is 54,000. I still need to install the motor. Currently running a 5400kv. I think a 6500kv on 3 could get closer to the 100mph benchmark.
Where was Chloe when you needed her? lol. I still can't believe that bike is moving that fast. 40s on 2S and 60s on 3S. It definitely doesn't look like it's going that fast!
These Questions don't have anything to do with the promoto. But I'm trying to put new tires on my infraction. Have you put out a video on aligningment I've used a speed square to get the camber right on the rears but they still just don't look right none of my components are bent what camber and castor do you set up the front wheels at.Untill my solide m2c racing tires come I'm trying not to burn threw this new set of hoons. Alot of these guys on tube are so secretive about their upgrades iif your getting boo koo bucks I understand but this is the BASH COMMUNITY. I'll be honest with you. I have the money to buy, but I'm watching what everyone is fixing or changing to improve it. That's what I did with my LMT. I bought everything I needed and the truck at the same time. I have not had a problem with it, and I bash the crap out of it. With you having a channel, you are stressed for content, so thru watching your videos and others really helps the consumer if you do it right. Not being a youtuber, I can wait. Great videos, as always.
I'll be honest with you too! Love my Promoto! I've run about 40 packs thru, and it took a lot of abuse the first two weeks. I hit 8" rocks, telephone poles, at 3/4 speed, and wonder how it survives. I've only had to replace the receiver because I left it on all night:-( I'm on my second tire, and third chain adjustment, and the fun doesn't stop. Can hardly wait for October to roll around so my buddies get thiers! Unfortunately, my crawler seat time has diminished the last month and a half!Lol@@claytonrc259
The high speed wobble it gives thru on its way up to full speed, it will go thru the same wobble on the way down... its not the AVC ! It's the lil nob, that rides in the oblong hole in the actual steering rack. Make the nob bigger, or the oblong hole smaller... I used a small piece of rc wing hinge material, superglued it into place, then sanded it to fit nicely. Eliminated the wobble for me. Before you alter it, make a pass with the AVC 100% off, full clockwise.
If your going to run 100mph, on your way up to a 100, at, let's say 72mph it gets a tank slapping shake, then goes away as you continue to 100mph, when you start desending down, when you get to 72mph the tank slapping shade will be there again. Steering damping with fix it. Remember the bikes normal top speed is 42mph.
@tonyrogers1683 yes vendetta top speed was 70 mph and an esc swap got it to 114mph 2wheels will be challenging that the fun my rustler was top speed of 30mph and ended with 120mph there Will alway be challenges 👌
The AVC on the MX is the knob that says "mx6" counterclockwise is 100% vehicle control. When it's turn up high, the head unit, "steering" can oscillate, like the tail boom on a rc heli. That can cause a shake, cause at high speeds the radio, Rx, has a hard time making a decision on where it's at. When the mx6 is turned clockwise, it's letting the rider determine how far to lean, and how fast to lean. Mine is full stock, supermotos, little clutch work, and absolutely no drag resistance. Never been anywhere but on the tarmac. Ita make a 48mph pass. Plenty fast enough for my run area...

KEEP ON BASHING, OR RACEING! FROM LONDON ONTARIO CANADA
Thanks
With some of the rc cars when the gyro is up to high it causes the car to wobble. Turn the gyro down to see ifit gets rid of the wobble
I did I even show it before the run and explain I turned it to 0 🧐

luckiest left turn ever right up a driveway safe from that truck!!
Right lol 😂
Great video but riderless promoto is like a SC truck speed run with no body, it’s incomplete
Or a super Baja Rey with no heads to drive lmao 🤣
Ram it both way on my videos series 63 mph with rider 65 mph without 2s showed 46 mph without 44 mph with

This happens on all arrma speed cars as well with spectrum avc normally we turn it off to stop the steering shake
First bro!!! Happy positive sunday to you man! Time to watch
You rock!
That was a much better run 🎉 real nice. I'm just waiting to see where we go from here .
Great run Earl... Salute!
Did I just witness the FIRST EVER Earl HOOFING IT video😳 It's a WORLD RECORD RUN for Earl nevermind the RC🤣😂🤣😂🤣🙂
No I’ve had worse runs lmao 🤣
Good job 🎉 and good result 👌
Great video as always Earl...... 👑💪
Hoping Guinness Book give you a call !! Great job !!
Yes 260 mph in scale lol 👌
I still love the views in the background of the desert hills or mountains🗻🌄🎥❤
Great run 65 mph 👏
Thanks 👍
Awesome job 🚀🚀🚀🤙🏽

If it was avc normally doesn’t go away just get worse but more test will see if it gets worse
When ya finished with it brother, just send to me in Australia, tip top my friend!
Lol 😂
Good job Earl Earl!

This servo horn is not normal I showed it yesterday has a huge slotted arm for front impact movement 🤷🏻♂️
🤔 I'm not sold on that first run . . . . I think the GPS added your running into the equation😳😂🤣😜

I use an iPhone app called bubble level for alignment videos on my channel
Be hitting 100 soon enough with that 👌 once sort that speed wobble.
Good job for that noisy gyro 😂 could have lost it otherwise.
Right sounded like a weed wacker

I thought it was gone 🤣
How about putting the slick tyre on the rear. You already got 1 on the front
I already showed how it slow the rc down by 2mph it’s in my playlist of the promoto series
Nice
Can you turn gyro off & do a speed run.
Yes but if it wobbles it will crash 💯
I suddenly want a bagel.
Lmao
looks like a world gps record to me, good work.
Me to 😎
Motorcycles have steering dampers need a little damper of some sort.
Who makes different gearing option? A bigger motor sprocket won’t fit?
The pinion is standard 🧐the spur will have to be modified and that’s being worked on alongside the rear sprocket
Didn’t you ask this already ???
@@earlmoorhead5555 yes sorry my bad, I thaught you were talking about the internal gears
Street rear tire would smoothen things out
2mph slower with stree tire on
They need to make one double the size of the one now ,tires are too small to do 100 mph. It's needs bigger scale
headshake from servo saver spring design, loose for MOTO!
