I wish I would have started back in 2020…but my stylist was still doing hair and unlike a lot of people I didn’t get to stay home. Being a public servant we had to go in everyday so nothing much changed for me during that time. I really didn’t even know about microlocs or sisterlocs but wish I did. Now I’m 25-months in the game and loving every moment of this journey. I barely get any styles besides just having my Loctician just flat twist my baby locs in the front until they get longer. After regrowing my hairline/edges this year it’s amazing to see all these baby locs she was able to install each time I come. I go every 6-7 weeks for my re-tie I tried 8-weeks…and that was no..😅. My hair is thriving not completely locd all the way but it’s getting there. Locs are condensing a lot and my microlocs get confused with sisterlocs all the time…
Very informative video. I started my DIY micro locs with you in mind today. I’m not focusing on the perfect grid (especially in the back) because hair and scalp health is more important than a tight grid. Thanks for all your knowledge and guiding me along the way ❤
@@EnToiBeauty update - they’re not micros lmao my hair is way too fine support a micro base but they are little. Idk what I have now but I’m happy with the size and my reties will be manageable. A manageable reiré was the important thing to me!
I never watch 25 minute conversations but this one kept my entire attention because of her authentic conversation. This loc journey is different for all of us. For me I am struggling still with an itchy scalp and do not have scalp issues per my dermatologist. This has just started since my Locs 7 months ago. So now going to tricology to figure out if it's oils or something I'm using. Hoping things get settled soon bc this scalp is making me not enjoy the journey as much. Thank you sharing.
Thank you for sharing this informative video about her loc journey. I appreciate the valuable information provided regarding Medicare. I will certainly share this with my clients.
Hi Loc Crush! This is Sheronda Sealey and this is great content, and I am so very happy to see this. We haven't seen each other since Aruba and I hope that you're doing well.
Hmmm...awesome discussion, however Ive never been taught to dislike myself. I've been natural with afro puffs and all since 2005... never liked wigs or weaves. Looking to getting micro locs. Will certainly need a consultation. Blessings
You mentioned if you have bigger microlocs you don’t have to interloc as often, for 235 microlocs how often do you think I should retie? I’m doing diy now, my loctician was doing 6 weeks and that was way too early, I don’t feel like I had enough new growth. I wish you were in KC! lol

I really like the 5/8” width for microlocs. It only takes my loctician an hour for an eerie. Her hair is so healthy and neat.
@@jmichelle46 yes, in and out with retie

❤❤❤❤ Thanks Sis!! 😘
Yes it truly has been a journey. Have you tried Tea tree oil or rosemary in treating your scalp?
How often do you shampoo your hair? What does your scalp look like?
Love this video. Very informative. Keep up the good great work.
