It's called marketing their program. Unless everyone is held down or forced to do all of this and give their "permission" then nothing is wrong with it. some people need guidelines to help them figure out how they want to tell their story. Mercy sharing positive stories isn't propaganda by any means. I'm sorry you had a bad experience there but this doesn't make them look bad to anyone that's ever run anything professional. I do have a lot of sympathy for your feelings though. I was basically told I wasn't good enough or Christian enough for a "christian" school that I attended all but my senior year. it crushed me and still affects me today. I'm sorry for what you went through. Just know God loves you no matter what!
It is evident that you had an awful experience, but the Lord can heal it. Do not discount so many others who found success, healing, and yes, transformation through Mercies programs. These aren't "buzz" words when you have truly experienced it! Praying for you. Jesus loves you.
