Ii love that you shared this. I’m a Mercy Survivor and former staff. The Nashville Scene article shares my story. My name was Jennifer Wynne. I changed it to India. I was a girl in the Louisiana home to run away from the Latin Kings gang that I was in. Nancy became like a mom to me. I worked at the Nashville home. I lived with her, and then I came out as gay. I’m the person who used to help cover up her intimate relationship with Lisa underwood. I was always on tour with point of grace to raise money for the home. Once I couldn’t take being a hypocrite about my sexuality, i came out to her even though at that time I still thought I was gonna burn in hell. I tried to resign. She wouldn’t let me. Then she showed up at a point of grace concert with Lisa & Sherry Douglas and fired me. I was put in conversion therapy after that in Dallas. It took ten years for me to speak out, and to this day she has never attacked me or let my name come out her mouth, because she knows everything I’ve spoken on is true. You want the tea?! I got it. It breaks my heart that she is still hurting girls.

Another time I overheard someone on the phone talking to her friend. She was in a room with this dude who was practicing witchcraft on her. She was apparently naked and was chanting something. Her friend was trying to open the door and ask the man to leave and stop doing weird stuff. The guys didn't listen and locked the door. And her friend was like a completely different person. Her friend was crying on the other end and was trying to get help but didn't want to tell the mother. She attempted to keep calling out to her friend and eventually grabbed a Bible and began to quote scriptures. She kept doing it and prayed to God to stop whatever was happening. The girl had her phone on speaker and on mute and was listening to everything that was happening. Eventually. She stopped and so did the chanting. The guy unlocked the door and the girl was still naked. I heard her tell her friend to get out and not to look. And she shut the door and the dude apparently left. And her friends was just shocked to see what was happening. Witchcraft and demonic stuff is real dude. And it's messed up. You literally won't believe me until you see it with your own eyes. That's why deliverance is everything!!!!

Once I remember witnessing this boy. Who was demon possessed after engaging in witchcraft and he walked out into the hallway but naked and screamed like a demon. And spray painted the walls with witchcraft symbols and words that read "I am a demon who is oppressed, and I have escaped, end witchcraft" and satanic symbols and stuff. Then I saw him screaming and he tore the entire electrical lock system off the door and strait through the front of the building. The wall and the window and everything. With just his hand...the police arrived and put caution tape and restrained him and took him to jail for vandalizing and they had to remove all the graffiti from the walls. Later that week. A massive flood happened and water tore through the ceiling from the top floor down to the bottom floor. It was a 4 story building. But it didn't touch my room at all and flooded every other room...I believed demons existed after seeing that

I'm sure she was misinformed on what DID really is. There's a lot of misinformation about it. I have it and it has actually been one of my blessings. However a lot of people have misrepresented it and there was a lot they didn't understand back then. But demonic possession is very real. And I've seen some horror sorry cases that would easily become a horror film based on a true story. But with DID generally alters don't talk like that. What she's talking about sounds like pure demons in someone and she needs deliverance. I pray for her. I've seen demons take people's lives. Innocent kids. That made their home inside them and made them do things that ended their life or got them life in prison. It's so sad. And scary. And not going to lie I have seen exactly what shes talking about in young women who have walked through the doors of transitional housing and reentry programs. It's really sad. And I hope they eventually get delivered. They usually end up dead or in prison from what I've seen with my own eyes. And it's not the person it's the demon that did it.

I absolutely love what she preaches! Deliverance is a beautiful thing. Medications have caused people to end up in ers, with blistering rashes and even adverse side effects that can lead to death due to the process of trial and error. Casting out demons means you command the demon not to have any authority over someone's influences that cause addictions to things like pornography, gluttony, gossiping and slander, obsession with money etc. Casting a demon out means you cast out the feeling of addiction that is controlling you. The voice that tells you to do terrible things to yourself or that you aren't worthy enough. All the evils under the sun. We must cast them out in the mighty name of Jesus! If not you will remain oppressed to the power it has over you. Causing you to be influenced by it and it will destroy your life. The laying Of hands is a metaphor for the extension of the holy spirit through someone else to protect one from the demonic oppression so that it has no authority over the person. This person needs strength. And it comes in numbers not by itself. So they can be set free. That is what the word deliverance means. to be delivered from something or to something by means outside of yourself. It's like having a hug from someone you love except it's from Jesus Christ and it is powerful. Our words and intentions are powerful. You don't have to have the laying of hands for deliverance but it is helpful. If someone does not have demonic influences then medication is a wonderful intervention. The facility follows this practice. As medication should not always be the first tool used to treat someone because it can cause dependency rather than independence. However deliverance is indeed a necessary intervention before medication is given. I would hope more people would understand before they judge. But many people will judge and hate Christians. That is the world. The world will always persecute those who are doing God's works. I am happy to hear that so many girls have had positive experiences at this place. And I'm sorry for those who have not. But at a certain point we all must take accountability for the things we chose to stay in bondage to. Until you understand you will always hate it. Because there is fear in what we cannot comprehend. It's called cognitive dissonance. We are uncomfortable with what we are not ready to understand or accept.

As someone who’s major is criminal Justice and investigations, and having a background in behavior analysis and western healthcare, I’ve reviewed a lot of these articles that are making claims against Mercy and I have to say I’m actually going to it myself to see what’s really going on as a client. I am also a follower in Christ and have been my entire life. I’ve been on the flip side of this already with homeless shelters and psychiatric treatment facilities and residency centers which I would say are far worse because they aren’t faith based and don’t actually help the kinds of people Mercy is claiming to help. So I’m going to just go in myself and see what’s up. Cause a lot of these people stories sound very compulsive and inconsistent. A lot of these girls seem like they did not want to get better and refused to do the work. Based on what I’ve heard it just sounds like they want to cause issues for pity and for attention. I also understand how Non profits work so the fact that this company has a very necessary structure, and is supplying these people with more needs that half the homeless shelters combined I would be highly skeptical of these claims. It also seems like some people just weren’t ready to do the work. All the policies mercy has seem to be reasonable and outline a very reasonable agreement. I also saw videos of claims and people taking scriptures and skewing things to sound like a cult. But it was very ignorant because it seems it came from someone who does not support the belief in God and so they have a bias opinion. If they are hiding anything I’m sure I’ll find out. But for now based on what I’ve gathered. There doesn’t seem to be anything I would be concerned about. I suppose we will find out.
