Why only 71 views for this video??? Advice from the heart from a very caring woman who has been there herself and survived! Respect to you Gemma. So many people suffer from eating disorders, but don't know how to get the help that they need. You and your team at SEED are doing great things. Very, very sorry about your miscarriage - you have to go through it to understand like my partner did. We lost twins several years ago and tried to forget quickly to block things out. I now know that it was the wrong thing to do. It was a bereavement and we should have grieved. I wish you well.
This video is everything! I've beaten myself up SO MUCH whilst trying to recover, and some days I still do, but now I always remember your Evidence Pot advice and it reminds me I shouldn't be so hard on myself. Then the ending is just pure class! This is the attitude I have towards the ED now, but I'm afraid I'm not much of a singer 😂 Thanks for always being so honest and telling it exactly as it is, we all know how important that is. You've given me the courage and confidence to do the same ❤️xxx
Bless you jess, I wasn't sure whether to post it as didn't want someone to feel I was trivialising eating disorders but then I had to remember what I say constantly, we are human beings and deserve to be spoken to accordingly. The eating disorder can't be allowed to take away who we are. I'm so glad it's helped you. Forever proud of you xxx
@@Gemma10O I really doubt anyone would think that! You're right, the ED is a part of us but it's not who we are. We are all so much more. Of course, everything you all do always helps me, and thousands of others. You too xxx
I'm at that 03:00 point currently, again, trying to figure out what to do. Thank you for all the work you're doing x
