He used to send people into bits like that. He couldn’t come up with anything himself so he would just say a topic and then “Annnnd go” and wait for everyone else to carry the show, as usual. The issue is, he’s now forcing others to carry an idea without even contributing himself. “Racist cars. Annnnnd gooo...”

"In the 80's, when I was growing up." Gregg was born in '63, he was in his 20's during the 80's. Douchechills.....
in true Opie style, he pretended he was saying it as a goof - "that's the bit". of course, it wasn't.
I would argue that because your frontal lobe doesn't fully develop until ~25 that's when you're done growing up. He turned 25 in '88 and started the 80's at 17yo. I'd say it's pretty fair of him to say that.
