They wonder why nobody shows up at these events when they open the show talking about how awful it's going to be. It seems like after serious took over they started deliberately shooting themselves in the foot because they hated the way they were being treated and wanted out.

It's sad to think that when Opie and Anthony are finally getting along again, openly talking about it and being honest about their relationship, the show decided to part ways with Ant.
It really does suck they ended up where they are now. Potential classic bits missed out on forever. Lady Di's in a ward now with dementia, etc.

O&A wonder why the company saw them as disposable, meanwhile they absolutely refused to take meetings with their bosses or participate in meetings. They were always jealous that Stern got special treatment and they thought they deserved the same arrangement.
Their view was the bosses hated them, but O&A brought them ratings yet... still treated them like relative shit because they just didn't like them or their show. There's probably a lot of truth to it, honestly, these execs are about business and ratings but they as people likely hate everything O&A do so the guys probably said fuck them a long time ago. Stern got special treatment cause he was their golden goose but clearly was their big bastion for the big A-time celebrities which isn't what O&A do.

@@VashTheStampFiend Of course the meetings were useless. But you work for a major corporation, and they're paying you a seven figure salary. A big component of success in that environment is playing the game, and they never wanted to do that.
Which is fine, I get it, that's their thing. They're two blue-collar schmucks from Long Island. But they can't wonder why they never got the respect they deserved internally, despite their success with the audience.

Kenny is right. If o&a had a baba booey, or at the very least a real man as producer, they would probaly still be on the air today. Neither Travis sam or erock where ever going to be that guy. Shoulda fired Travis erock and Roland kept sam since he at least contributed then hired a hungry veteran from another morning show to be there executive.
