But from point of communists it was irrelevant, communists rejected conception of countries and they wanted revolution on whole planet, to unite all people in one common state (more correctly - to cancel any state). And communists proposed this brilliant idea. It was popular and majority in Ukraine supported this idea, they arise and joined to communists, defeat Germans, Poland, White, Anarchists (they were also pretty popular) and became one of founders of Soviet Union. Germans also arise and almost became Soviet state, but in West lived too lot of too powerful elites, they suppressed communists everywhere. Later to fight with incredible popularity of communists they born fascism.
According to Stalin, Khrushchev & even PutinStalin, it does. -if one is to believe what RUS dictators say.

So I noticed a peculiar thing. The footage of shelling shown at 3:00 is actually a bit south of Vovchansk, in between Synel'nikove, Lyman and Vil'cha. You can spot this forest fearly easily. What's peculiar is that the trench being shelled is facing away from the border. If you were sitting in that trench, trying to defend fron the enemy, that is comming from the north your vision would be obscured by thick forests along the road. So I wonder if these fortifications were actually built by the russian army. If i'm not mistaken, they occupied this lockation for a while in 2022. Its just a speculation on my part.

My God the lack of self awareness and critical thinking skills is so tiresome.

Under Communism Latvians had a saying "He who does not steal from his place of business is robbing his family"
It's possible that this first wave of attacks was composed of assault units, chechens, storm z, wagner, because RU expected more robust fortifications to be in their way. It seems that was not the case, and these units have shown that the path is even clearer than expected, so I expect RU to commit reserves due to a confirmation of poor fortifications on the road to Kharkov.
UKR can't commit too many reserves to that portion of the front, especially with the dire situation in Chasiv Yar, and North and West of Avdiivka. This is a massive problem fo0r them, I believe they were fully expecting less soldiers to hold the Kharkov direction due to "extensive fortifications".
Furthermore, I would not be surprised if RU opened a new attack towards Sumy, an extension of the belief that UKR fortifications in the region are exaggerated, and they would find success in any direction they choose to attack.
