Mine came today. Set it up and exactly the same wasn’t happy with the suction from the cyclone. Took the top off had a look back together and now full suction.
    Well happy with mine👍

i bought a cheap metal cyclone on amazon and put it on a small metal barrel. its a great job. it really saves on bags and even the hassle of emptyin the reusable bag.
i must get one of the festool ones for site work, it looks nice and compact for in the van

Yes mate... seems to be well compact and just fits in nicely where I wanted it too..

Those side straps are new. Bought mine in 2018. I don't regret buying mine. Its expensive, but it is Festool. I bought a cheaper DIY Onida Dust Deputy years ago, but never assembled it. The Festool seperater was out of the box and running within 15 mins. Also fits in with the systainer system seamlessly. The convenience was worth the price for me.

Wondering if there is a video, where I can see the filters of the vacuum, after used. It's my 20th video, nobody want to show this , don't know why! It's only this factor, which will make me take a decision. !

Is that the CT MIDI dust extractor you’re connecting it to? I have a CT MIDI and I really wanted this dust cyclone but the Festool website says it’s not compatible with the CT MIDI. PLEASE let me know.

Hi there. Did you happen to find out if this was compatible with the midi and without a significant loss of suction?

Why didn’t you buy the reusable bags on eBay for around £15. They have a zip fitted so easy to empty.

@@lowesjoinery3031 ah right another scan from festool. I’ve just ordered the little ct15e new model last year. Think it’s there entry level dust extractor. Just waiting for it to arrive. You keeping well. Busy?

They work great, I sacked off the clear bag and just empty the tub as it fills, I was using at least 5 bags some weeks if not more and now less than 1 a month so defo worth the investment I would say. I could just do with 2 more lol as I run 3 midi's 🤣🤣

    • @lowesjoinery3031

Yes I'm going through 5 bags some weeks and it's pricey game... so hopefully it will return its worth pretty fast

Nice bit of kit mate, its my only gripe with the Festool extractor, the cost of the bags, you’ll soon get your money back on that bad boy, as long as you are not losing the suction power 👍🏻 😉
