@@josephjoestar6679 In just Finals series alone, Bird won his 3 titles by putting away Moses Malone, twin towers Hakeem Olajuwon and Ralph Sampson, and Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and James Worthy. Bird also won 3 straight MVPs. Luka has quite a ways to go to top that. I'd agree they have some significant similarities, and if the NBA was disbanded and put into a huge redraft I'd pick Luka #1, but to just make such a claim that Luka is already superior to Bird is asinine.

I’d like to preface this by saying that I played basketball in NYC in an all primarily black high school and got my nick name from the brothers playing at The Cage and at Rucker Park. We were all trying to emulate what Larry Bird was doing on the playground and it was impossible for us. Plus, Larry Bird was the biggest trash talker, and he would even tell people why he was gonna do and did it. However, I remember hearing what Pat Riley said, “If I had to choose a player to take a shot to save a game, I’d choose Michael Jordan, but if I had to choose a player to take a shot to save my life, I’d take Larry Bird."

Plays aren't even close to the same for the most part. He's great but he's no Bird. Bird owned the 4th quarter where Luca disappears in the 4th.
