You are hair magician! I have to be honest, when I went for balayage course year ago and paid a lot and it was crap course, I stumbled upon your videos and cracked balayage techniques within hour or so thanks to you!. So thank you thank you, for being so amazing and sharing your techniques with us!! 🙏🙏
This is exactly what I need, but whenever I try to ask for something like that, the hair people look at me like I’m speaking another language. It’s so frustrating.
I normally don’t leave comments but I had to come back and let u know u are awesome. I tried so many different formulas and I could not get the grey I wanted. Ur video was my last chance to get it right and it worked! Thank u so much for being so informative in ur video. I am a professional but I had never did silver before. I look forward to seeing more of ur videos. Thank u again 🙏
I sat through an entire day having this process done going from a dyed blonde with greys coming in fast and furious from Covid lock-down. I decided to transition right then and there. I had waist length curly hair. We cut about 8" off first to just under my shoulder blades. My front is naturally white, then it transitions naturally to a light silver in the middle...then everywhere else came in a darkish grey/black. I LOVED IT! I have had to return twice to get the blonde ends toned and another cut. Wanting to keep my long hair I still have about 2 inches of faded out blonde on the ends...But going every 6 months instead of every 6 weeks for root touch ups is awesome. If you're ready to go grey FULL TIME...this is the way to get it started!
I loved this. I've told many hairstylists I want to blen my hair hair like this and they just don't understand. It's so frustrating to the point I want to try this by myself.
This is intricate work. As a professional, I would not recommend you do this on yourself, but you may have to look around for colorists who do more of these and can tackle it for you. Gray blending is usually a color correction-level service that costs a pretty penny, and TIME, too. The gray should, ideally, be grown out a couple of inches, at least, too.
Because most people don't want to spend more than $300 and this is is over 1K for a stylist to make it worth their time. Plus toners fade quickly. That said, she did a great job.
OMG that result is STUNNING! I just recently started working on transitioning my mom's hair back to her natural grey, so I've been excited to see this video ever since you posted the one where you swatched all the different formulas. After seeing this, I might rethink my formula. Thank you for sharing!!❤️
So gorgeous! And so much talent required to do this process beautifully. I’d dare say your work is even more beautiful than Jack’s! I transitioned my hair last year after I started having severe reactions to color. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to my hair and I get way more compliments than before.
@N I'm a cosmetologist and this should grow out very nicely, the only maintenance you'd need would be a toner every so often but also using purple shampoo at home would help with the toning as well
I've been trying to find this channel for ages!!! I came across this channel last year, but unfortunately, I forgot to subbed then. I remember commenting to Jamie's channel before that she has a relaxing voice. So so glad I found it again today 💖
Your educational skills are phenomenal. You deliver a huge amount of info clearly and rapidly. The video production is edited perfectly. Best use of my educational time commitment. I'm going to devour the rest of your videos and refer my colleagues. Thanks for encouraging an honest time/cost projection for this particular service. I may recommend my clients' watch. It'll give them valuable perspective . Nice work👏
It looks beautiful but I’m wondering if the grow out would look good? I’m thinking of doing this but the point of doing it is so I can stop coloring, with shadowing at the root won’t grey grow out and it look odd?
This is so inspiring to see that we don’t have to go cold Turkey with the awful skunk line! In the video you mentioned you would tell us how much you would charge for something like this. If you mentioned it I didn’t hear it. How much does something like this cost? Thank you again for posting this! Beautiful work
Thank you so much for this incredible informative video, im a baby stylist doing this soon to a client! I work at ulta salon and (youre gonna hate this) but instead of charging her for a color correction (80$/hr) im only charging her 230$ (partial highlight, all over color, olaplex) but im charging ao little because its my first time and im not highlighting the whole head and mostly focussing on the front
You re my new favorite RUclipsr you have taught me so much just in this one video I just graduated Cosmetology school three months ago and started working at a salon and I have been feeling like I know nothing😅
Yes! This is a great video suggestion! I also have another video I've already filmed that you might find helpful too: ruclips.net/video/NpxAqudRoQg/видео.html
I love your work, but I always feel like you don't saturate the hair enough. I would want to see almost no dark coming through the hair in the foil before closing it up. I would guess that's why you got more warmth than you wanted. I did notice one particular foil that caught my eye for not having enough saturation was exactly where you spot toned at the end. I love your technique though, the way you stack and pattern the foils. And I LOVE the color of your hair! I want that color on mine!
Gorgeous. Wow. Love it. Kenra's SM's have saved my butt with these, before. I always let the client know, there will be a few "blonde" and warmer pieces that just won't shift to that icy silver, but I will do my best to blend it. That line's metallics just do the job. I haven't used the 6 NUA, I usually use Mydentity with the ash and add dark shadows to the formulation. I can't believe how well that "brassy" brown-toned out. How often would you recommend she come in for a toner refresh? (I think a lot of clients think they'll "never have to color their hair again, rather than the reality of needing regular toners until ALL of that gray grows out, and is cut off).
Fantastic video, Beautiful hair color! I Love it! I need to watch it again so I can get it down pat because I have a lady coming in Tuesday to do the same thing, but on shorter hair! Thank you so much!
Totally AWESOME!! The hair is beautiful and so are you!! I Love your spirit and it shows in your work. Yes I have learned some very informative tips that I never knew before! Thank you so much for this video and I'll be watching for the one!!
I am 40yrs old... BUT, I need this in my life NOW... I'm tired of my grey.. it's time I accept it and if I could get this color, I would do it right now!
Your detailed instruction is so helpful! This is the perfect step-by-step demonstration I was looking to show a stylist. After too many color fails, I'm getting to the point that I want a colorist to sign-off on using the same techniques and care you use with clients or I won't bother.
If you want to rent us out for the entire day, we will gladly do this for 1000-2000k. It depends on your area. So charge more and some charge less. Great work!
So cool to see how intricate this process is. Amazing end look. Thank you for educating about grey color and grey transitioning and how to make them beautiful!
Wow, this is amazing, and I hope I can be your next model. I have around 80% of my hair turned grey (on the roots) and I am Asian, so the grey hair really bothers me a lot as I have dark hair. I will share this with my hairdresser as a reference.
OMG this is beautiful!! I wonder how I describe/request my hair dresser to do this. I've been blond for a while but I'd like less maintenance and more of a natural gray grow out period. THANKS
This turned out beautifully! 😍 Dang I wish I had over $1000.00 to get my mostly grey, little bit of dark brown blended into my dyed blonde ends. I've been growing mine out for 14 months. Guess I'll just keep cutting the blonde off till it's all natural.🤷
SOOOO beautiful and her hair looks so healthy! You're an amazing artist and I learn so much from you! Quick question - am I correct in interpreting that the bleach foils actually processed for three hours? And if so, were you worried about breakage?🌺
Wow it’s beautiful!! So the long hair will be perfect for quite some time and you’ll only need to match the roots to the colour of her New hair. . . iLove it !!🎉😂❤
Wow so beautiful! I looks like balayage but with gray hair, stunning. Although your hair looks so pretty as well in the color, I feel like it would be fun to try this color some dye. For many years I had dark hair (occasionally with highlights/ coloring). So tired of dark hair!!
My hairdresser just bleached my whole head, leaving my grey roots. THen put a solid toner in that looks a little dirty greenish. Not particularly happy but i have a shaggy pixie cut. Going to try a silver toner myself
You are hair magician! So thank you thank you, for being so amazing and sharing your techniques with us!! 🙏🙏
This came out so incredible!! I’ve definitely noticed more women wanting to embrace their gray - this makes that process so much easier! 🔥🔥
Yeah but now that person is still going to get roots which is what most people don't want who come in for grey blending.
Yea
@TacoBelle I understand, however tl me it defeats the point as someone who just went silver and as a stylist.
This is exactly what I need, but whenever I try to ask for something like that, the hair people look at me like I’m speaking another language. It’s so frustrating.
To me they explain a scientific project length of blah blah all I can remember estimated cost they said at the end which is about €600 🙄
You're going to the wrong hair people.
I love this! Im only 34 but I started going gray in my mid 20s and Im ready to just embrace the gray and own the look 😊
Go for it, I’m sure it will look stunning! I don’t regret stopping dyeing my hair and embracing the silvers!
I normally don’t leave comments but I had to come back and let u know u are awesome. I tried so many different formulas and I could not get the grey I wanted. I want to transition as well. I hope I can find someone who can transform my hair like this. Great work! She looks amazing 😍
I loved this. I've told many hairstylists I want to blen my hair hair like this and they just don't understand. It's so frustrating to the point I want to try this by myself.

You'll have to show them this video
Because most people don't want to spend more than $300 and this is is over 1K for a stylist to make it worth their time. Plus toners fade quickly.
That said, she did a great job.
How would one maintain this color? How often will she need to come in?
OMG that result is STUNNING! Thank you! I'm SO glad this was the exact video you needed to see before doing your mom's hair! I hope it turns out amazing!
It is AMAZING how much younger that made her look, too! Absolutely stunning!
So beautiful! Where are you located, I want my hair gray
So gorgeous! And so much talent required to do this process beautifully. I’d dare say your work is even more beautiful than Jack’s! I transitioned my hair last year after I started having severe reactions to color. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to my hair and I get way more compliments than before.
It is really pretty but what about now (6 months later?) I would love to see a follow up
Same! What is the maintenance like?
Yes. I’m considering transitioning and embracing the new grey but don’t want to be a worse orange mess.
@N I'm a cosmetologist and this should grow out very nicely, the only maintenance you'd need would be a toner every so often but also using purple shampoo at home would help with the toning as well
@@NaddaMercenarywhat about the shadow root? If she only did the grey highlights I would think the transition would be better, right?
Cosmetology student here..I would love to see the transition Ito natural greys
I've been trying to find this channel for ages!!! I came across this channel last year, but unfortunately, I forgot to subbed then. I remember commenting to Jamie's channel before that she has a relaxing voice. So so glad I found it again today 💖
This is easily one of the best videos covering this transition 🩶
This is a very very good result, not yellow or so. Thank you for this video and sharing the technique.
Interesting one hair salon said to me they would like to do a test strand. You have explained what it is thanks
Your educational skills are phenomenal. You deliver a huge amount of info clearly and rapidly. The video production is edited perfectly. Best use of my educational time commitment. I just had black chunky lowlights put into my natural white hair and a cut short cut. It looks fab!!!
It actually made her look younger! Great job!
Thanks so much Jamie! This turned out so beautiful! Its so nice to see the process step by step!
It looks beautiful but I’m wondering if the grow out would look good? I’m thinking of doing this but the point of doing it is so I can stop coloring, with shadowing at the root won’t grey grow out and it look odd?

Thank you for this video. It’s so helpful and it came at the right time. More people want to go back to their own colour. Thank you so much. 😊
Beautiful work!!! Wow, wish my gray hair would look like hers now. What styling products do you suggest to calm the frizzy grays?
You re my new favorite RUclipsr you have taught me so much just in this one video I just graduated Cosmetology school three months ago and started working at a salon and I have been feeling like I know nothing😅
Im obsessed with THIS. I have gray but not a lot mostly it's mixed and mostly in the front. This is what I'm looking for!❤❤
Could you do a story time of some of the worst clients or experiences where services have gone south?
Yes! This is a great video suggestion! I also have another video I've already filmed that you might find helpful too: ruclips.net/video/NpxAqudRoQg/видео.html
It looks FA-BU-LOUS!!
Amazing 🤩 looks very soft and natural .. excellent job Jamie , Thanku for sharing 👍🏼💗
Yessss we live for these actual hair videos!!!
Love love love it so much I want my hair to look just like that
Woowwww that is an AMAZING 🤩 COLOR CORRECTION!!
Live the LOng form videos. !! Such a pretty result !
I love your work, but I always feel like you don't saturate the hair enough. I would want to see almost no dark coming through the hair in the foil before closing it up. I LOVE this! I wonder wht it would look like once it grows out
I’m so obsessed with how it came out! Awesome job and thank you, I’ve learned so much in just this process alone.🖤🖤
Thank you for this education. I always struggle with this process, and watching and hearing how you went about this was super helpful.

This is exactly what I wanted but I don't have enough grays yet. But, I wish I'd found this video before I went in to get my hair done last week.
Woah, GORGEOUS! Nice job, 100%!
Looks so amazing!!! You do wonderful work!!! Would have been nice to see an end result without the black mask though!
Beautifully done 👑! You are so talented and bring so much to the table every time!!! I've been wanting this exact gray!!! 👍
Wow, this is amazing, and I hope I can be your next model. I have around 80% of my hair turned grey (on the roots) and I am Asian, so the grey hair really bothers me a lot as I have dark hair. I will share this with my hairdresser as a reference.

U did an amazing job btw. I will be at this level of experience one day and I can't wait.
Gorgeous! Wowza - never thought gray could be so pretty ❤ thanks for including the foiling and sectioning 🙏
Wow it’s beautiful!! So the long hair will be perfect for quite some time and you’ll only need to match the roots to the colour of her New hair. . . iLove it !!🎉😂❤

Wow!! Awesome job Jamie!!🥰
Totally not hair related…I love that you wear dresses. I love dresses too! But what shoes do you wear with them, while working? I love your videos! 😊
Loved this! Amazing job as always, Jamie!
Thanks guys! I appreciate it! The Kenra 8SM demi saved my butt in this color correction!
This is gorgeous. This is what I want.
