CQB Brutality 2023 - Day 2 - Partizan - Daewoo DR200 (Upgraded Korean Daewoo K2)

For Day 2, I initially planned to run my BCM AR, but I instead opted to re-run the Daewoo. Like the previous day, it functioned flawlessly and I couldn't have asked anything more from its performance. Unfortunately, the high bore offset cost me two critical penalties as I dropped two shots about 1/4 inch low. Since this match imposes 60 second penalties, I was knocked out of the running for a podium finish.

Though the RSO was aggressive in his instructions, he did not hand out a stage DQ like he could have. I believe he was shouting to overcome the adrenaline. I think both parties handled the tough situation well. I may have frozen up at the unanticipated shouting and gotten myself DQ'd there or just stopped my run. I agree with your sentiment though and hope the match organizers see this video.

I don't blame the RO at all. I understand the need for cold reholstering. However, I think that dropping the mag and requiring a high-value shot is an elegant solution to this issue that has been used in past brutality matches, but was not present here for some reason. Not having this option led to some odd strategies like people shooting extra rounds into the berm to clear their gun.

Totally agree with you, it beats the alternatives and adds to the experience. I didn't mean to imply blame, it was just surprising to see. Really glad you included the footage. @@tacticaljindo

@@arl0xen551 Oh yea for sure. Trust me, I was just as surprised to be getting an earful! Anyways, glad you like the footage! I'm fortunate to get decent film of my matches, which I know can be hard to find especially for 2-gun.
