Never commented before, but I just wanted to say I absolutely adore your vlogs, because I love seeing someone online who’s life looks a little more like mine; the adaptations you have to make and the challenges of health and trying to have a life with chronic illness. It’s lovely and relatable and makes me feel much less alone! 💗
It always warms my heart when I see your new video got uploaded. Your creation is always so authentic, informative, enhancing and pleasing to watch. Thank you for contributing to our society ❤
I love how u are not afraid of putting ur syndrome out there u stand out u check all comments you are just super lucky and brave and u are a wonderfull person
I enjoy your channel and look forward to uploads . I have MS served in the USMC . The MS affects my gait balance the way I walk . You have a great attitude keep pushing forward .
What an amazing strong young woman you are, love watching your videos, it always amazes me how you manage to do all that you do with all your health struggles. I have some of the symptoms of fibromyalgia but ive not been officially diagnosed. Hope this flare up you had didn't last long. Love and Light xx 💞
Fabulous fun trip and I'm glad you had a great time. Hope this flare up calms down quickly. I didn't realize my increasing sensory overwhelm was part of FND,. Thank you for sharing your experiences, helps me to reframe and research more ideas to retrain my brain.
my sensory overwhelm isn't due to my FND, but some sensory impairments can be caused by it. alongside my physical health conditions, i have some mental health difficulties and am currently being diagnosed as autistic :) it's been a long journey of realisations but i'm finally feeling confident enough to talk about it publically!
Sorry this trip ended in a flare up still it looks like u had a good time, thanks for making me comfortable to go out with my tics, your amazing and deserve the world :)
I am just now seeing this for the first time, and I just want to say this is a great thing you are doing to raise awareness. I work in healthcare and I find this very interesting. I think people in healthcare and law enforcement should watch theses videos to have a better understanding of the behaviors. I hope all is well, stay awesome, and thank you. You are an amazing person!
You're amazing Zara, You make me feel like I'm not alone. I have tics (not tourrettes though which I'm so grateful for) and I deal with sensory overloads, your channel has helped me alot
Just bumped into your channel. You look so beautiful and full of joy. I am sending happy thoughts and positive energy. Be happy and enjoy every day.❤❤❤
I always look forward to your videos but this one in particular hit home. Being busy + lots of sensory overwhelm = FND flare is an equation I know well and it's really nice to see it reflected back to me. I don't know anyone else personally with FND and there's not a lot of creators I know who talk about it, so thank you SO MUCH for sharing, and happy (belated) Disability Pride!!
i was stimming with excitement when i was there! it was the most inclusive and welcoming space full of colourful and interesting people... truly was a dream!!
I absolutely loved this I have austim and traveling is stressful for me I do bring headphones whenever I travel but it's not noise cancelling. I've been having a hard time finding some
I'm sorry about your flare up, I hope it went quickly and wasn't too bad! London looked great, I'm glad you had a good time at the event :) I hope it's okay to ask, could you please add a warning for the flashing images in this video for people with photosensitive epilepsy, migraines etc. please? Thank you so much!
Hey, great video! I was just wondering, you say you have fnd, tourettes and suspected pots, but if you don't mind me asking, do you have any other conditions because you talk about neurodiversity (I know tourettes is considered neurodiverse but I was just wondering if there was anything else) and mental health a lot. You don't have to answer though. I hope your flare up feels better now 😁
i have a lot going on behind the scenes that i don't talk about, some things i probably never will (and that's okay too!) but yes, i have mental health struggles alongside chronic illness. i've recently become more confident in talking about my difficulties specifically my autistic traits, which i'm called neurodivergent for now until i feel comfortable/validated enough to roll with the diagnosis 🙌🏻🌈 it's a long journey of acceptance and realisations, but i'm getting there and hope to share a lot more soon in the hopes people can relate :)
hi zara! im hoping this wont be insensitive, but i was wondering how you know when your friends with ticking disorders are ticking and when theyre actually talking voluntarily?
it feels very different. a seizure comes with horrible symptoms before and after, and there is no awareness or consciousness during (it sucks) whereas sleeping is peaceful and restful! and obviously doesn't have any other symptoms or neurological convulsions etc fainting also has uncomfortable pre-syncope symptoms beforehand, and doesn't feel restful
“Disability pride” yet little to no people are wearing masks. Really shows how only some disabilities are really seen as valid or worthy of protection for.
Are you a doctor?? Do you know anything at all about tics or Tourette’s?I highly doubt it so how dare you have the audacity to tell someone that they’re faking a medical condition. Leave her alone.
New subscriber! ! regardless of any syndrome she has, she is perfect, she deserves absolutely everything!🥺❤
Zara has Tourette's, FND and Pots :)
She's amazing, and you'll seriously love her!!

This has nothing to do with the vid but I’m obsessedddddd with her aesthetic, does anyone know what it’s called??
i have NO idea 😂 i just choose what i feel confident and cool in!!
Hey Zara! So I’ve been looking into getting some noise canceling headphones, but I don’t know which ones to get. What ones do you use?
❤
hi zara! im hoping this wont be insensitive, but i was wondering how you know when your friends with ticking disorders are ticking and when theyre actually talking voluntarily?
you get used to it! it's pretty easy to tell the difference most of the time with tone of voice etc :)

Question how do you know like if you faint or have a absence seizure not that you doze of and fall alseep?

you do know not all people with disabiltiies are immuno-compromised? the pandemic is long over so it's perfectly safe for events like this to go ahead
Can’t believe people are still faking tics
Are you a doctor?? Do you know anything at all about tics or Tourette’s?I highly doubt it so how dare you have the audacity to tell someone that they’re faking a medical condition. Leave her alone.
Right? lol, when will this shit end
Huh where did her tics go?? This girl is a psychopath for faking all this
I have tics as well and they tend to come and go. Please at the very least to research on these conditions before making up lies about people
