@@LuckyPkerz You cannot proof that. And i am seriously i cannot proof that as well. What really would show an evidence is when they would introduce a study based on all the sience indicators that lead to hair growth. I think it all really have to be persons with huge hair growrth problems. It is really difficult to say that it had big benefits for my hair when i already had a lot of hair. I think it also goes beyond the things he is saying in his video. And when you are negative to everything and saying that or this doesnot work for having no evidence then you really donot want to have a solution you just want to compensate your emotions in form of
frustration or anger because you have no hair. And even by that yeah for me it is important to have hair but i also accepted it that when i have no hair i will life a great life as well. I shaved me a glaze for some months. I really thing that is the closest to get full hair with maybe doing some other things like microneedling for a short period of time combined with these things. Overall better your lifestyle :L better sleep (no bluelight) , better your foodintake , intermitted fasting , look for better waterquality , good relationships and so on has a huge effect for your hair growth too. And i noticed that my hair gets better when i am more often out in the sun even when i am taking every day vitamin d. so there must be something in the sunlight that helps your hair grow as well.
in the end i don't want to be angry with you at all. i just want to do something good and send love and joy outwards

I really enjoyed this Doctor's highly professional lecture and learned a tremendous amount of hair loss information and the importance of ridding dandruff and improving scalp health. The only question I would have asked was, why does minoxidil have to have alcohol, propylene glycol in it to be effective. Why can't companies make minoxidil less irritating to scalp and without the use of topical steroid all the time,,,? What a break through that would be. Thank you, Joanie T.

She has autoimmune hair loss, where the immune system attacks the hair follicles - which is a form of scarring hair loss that likely doesn't grow back. So most of the treatments wouldn't work even if she tried because there's no hair follicle. Only the anti-inflammatory steroids and immunesuppressive drugs would help her if she started them before the scarring hair loss

I’m 62. I’ve had thin hair all my life, more noticeably as I’ve aged. No thyroid problems. Family doctor has no suggestions other than minoxidil. So I tried it and here’s my experience with it after one year of using it religiously.....it did nothing for me. That was a few years ago. I still have hair on my head. It is thin. I just accept it, keep it trimmed and clean and know that I am more than my hair. One caution about minoxidil....you do have to use it daily forever. It’s nasty stuff. If your boyfriend, husband or other, kisses you on the head, it won’t be nice, just saying. My hair is probably genetic. I have two daughters who are beautiful inside and out who have thin hair. One is okay with it, the other anxious and worried about getting even thinner. The most important “treatment” is confidence building. So far there is no magic bullet.

Im only 35 but for years I’ve been silently struggling with hair loss. It’s terrifying and depressing. There are days when I don’t even want to get out of bed because I don’t want to have to look in the mirror. There are days when I don’t leave the house because I don’t want to have to brush my hair. I have had panic attacks in the shower when I wash my hair and I see so many strands just washing out in my hands.
I’ve had my thyroid checked. I’ve tried vitamins, apple cider vinegar, onion juice, used every birthday wish, and even begged to God. I’ve had in iron levels checked. I started eating more red meat.
There are hair treatments out there to grow back hair but they are so expensive. Laser therapy, plasma injections, hair transplants, and even just buying supplements can get expensive. I need help. I realize that stress is also not good for growing hair but I’m getting desperate.
I only wear my hair up now. My friends and people at work always say, “I’ve never seen you with your hair down. You should wear your hair down.” If only I could. They don’t know that I do want to wear my hair down so bad but I can’t. It’s embarrassing. I don’t feel pretty and I don’t feel feminine anymore.
I really do appreciate and thank everyone of you in advance for your donation. I know that with your help and prayers I will make it. You are giving me back my life. Thank you so so much.
I don’t have any social media and this is a very sensitive and embarrassing topic for me to talk to people about. You can also help me by sharing my fundraiser with your friends and family or on Facebook. Thank you.

Thank you, Professor Goh, for your down-to-earth explanation about the permutations of hair loss. My mother, in her late 80's, was obsessed with her hair thinning. She was unable to accept the reality of her age being the main factor. In my opinion, she looked fine, follicularly speaking. LOL I guess her constant complaining must've worn a rut in my brain, because I found myself wondering about my hair after I shampooed it the other day. Horrors!!! Unlike Mom, I know how to deal with irrational thoughts, and my online research led me to this video. Just coincidentally I share some those genes that may be connected to autoimmune conditions, including Alopecia Areata, with some female relatives . My cousin Angela has A.A., and her mother (my maternal aunt) and I both have Lichen Sclerosis, a skin condition affecting the genitals.

It can become inching snd sometimes painful especially at night .it also can turn out to be worse that’s when the vagina grows closed and it becomes cancer as well it’s a rare disorder . Sometimes it just stays at a certain level and does not get any worse .

@@carolynmscotti827 Lichen Sclerosis is just one of many autoimmune conditions that predominantly affect women. It is a chronic condition, which means there is no cure. I just learned recently that large doses of vitamin D seem to have a positive affect on the immune system. I bumped my dose last fall to ~4,500 I.U per day, because of not wanting to get Covid-19. It turns out there is this knock-on effect which may slow, or possibly reverse some effects of autoimmune conditions, like psoriasis for example. I am just one person, though, so please do research and/or speak with your physician before messing around with supplements. 😁

Also At 28:54! it is an old belief that Testosterone causes hair loss! According to Dr. Pay Peat Phd.
"The active thyroid hormone, T3, declines with aging, and this necessarily lowers production of pregnenolone and progesterone. Increasingly, in both sexes, it appears that DHEA may rise during stress as a result of a deficiency of thyroid, progesterone, and pregnenolone."

Dr. The sooner you treat baldness, the better? I'm 17 years old and I started taking finasteride for baldness, my hair wasn't falling out exaggeratedly but the entries in the front were big and I had some fine hairs, I started taking finasteride 1 month ago but it started to fall out a lot, but I saw on the internet that it's normal in the first 3 months there is a "shedding" in the first few months is this really normal?? I'll keep taking it forever at least I won't go bald skksks if I manage to at least keep what I have until one day I get an implant in the entrances, I'll be happy, it really sucks, I'm in my last year of school sometimes I'm ashamed to go, I don't even go to recess with low self-esteem, I go to the bike service, I keep turning my neck so I don't hit the wind and mess up my hair... but I'm very persistent, I've been on Minoxidil for 1 year, even not giving me results, people saying this and that, I won't give up, now I started with finasteride and everything is going to be ok the last thing that dies is hope, Faith... Dr thanks for the motivating videos, may God continue to bless you always and your family.

In some animals, melatonin has been shown to be responsible for whitening of the hair during the winter. In some species it acts directly on the pigment cells, but in other species it seems to inhibit the action of the melanocyte stimulating hormone.
