I came here for the information (which was very accurate and useful) and I stayed for the comments of so many people analysing, sharing experiences, and asking really important questions. The hair loss community definitely is filled with amazing people.
10:30 So we have about 40 seeds. And we go about trying Rogaine and go through a shed. Some other treatment.. go through a shed.. Then we try Finasteride go through a shed.. Each time, we're killing a seed? :( Damn.. I guess by trying to combat hairloss, we are speeding it up.
Kenji Yagi yea, I started minoxidil a month and a half ago and I had before that a little thinning on the middle top after minoxidil I have massive loss all over crown top of head it crazy if pissed
@@bigbirdmcdermott7594 When starting Minoxidil, the hair loss will occur (severally) for several months. However, this initial interaction will stop. You must remain persistant with the use of Minoxidil, and then, you will see drastic improvements. On the other hand, I also recommend that you use a 0.5mm derma-roller along with your Minoxidil-5%. I would recommend that you derma-roll once per week, for up to 16 weeks in order to see ideal improvements.
The hair reflects your health imo. If your hair isn’t growing or falling out, find out what’s wrong with your general health and fix that first. Bad diet? Not enough sleep? Stressed out? Not exercising? Fix that first imo.
if the donor region at the back is still strong and healthy, would that mean that stress cannot be a factor ? or would stress affect already genetically challenged follices more than other areas
I wish he would just explain the science in technical terms instead of the bad soil and seeds analogy and trying to dumb it down for laymen's. Makes it more confusing than less and I'm ok with googling a few terms if need be. I otherwise appreciate the talk and presentation.
I've used Arganrain professional hair care product and it works pretty well. I bought three bottles of shampoo from online at Arganrain products. I've also tried Rogaine. To be honest , it was really awful because of it’s content. Fortunatelly, Arganrain helps my lost hair grow back.
Can I ask something sir or mam.. I have a hair lose problem when I try to comb my hair so many hair fall its not normal , its start when I get started to work in Saudi Arabia I just wondering and also when everytime I take a bath so many hair fall I got. When I try to comb properly my hair I think its thousands can fall. But before it's not like this, I'm 26 years old ..what can I do?
@medal you should try theradome hair helmet. It is trusted and approved by USFDA and even used by Hollywood stars. For full detail visit our you tube channel.
Someday in the future they might have ahair transplant in the local hospital.someday they put hair transplant for insurance coverage in the near future. Since technology is advancing.
Dr. Tsuji in Japan has found a way to replicate hair follicles, which would essentially be a cure for baldness since we will have unlimited hairs for transplantation. Lets just hope it actually works since human trials are due to happen soon.
There are so many causes which can affect hair loss so taking precaution is good if you love your hairs. Without consulting any doctor, taking any medicine or hair oil can also harm your hairs.
Not quite as effective as oral and can have worse side effects. Also it’s more work because you have to get the whole scalp to protect all the hairs. Oral suppresses 70% DHT and topical is like 50-60%.
I am a current Stanford hair loss patient (and a happy one!) and decided to watch this lecture as Dr. Oro is not familiar to me. I found the lecture very disappointing. Not only did he have poor communication skills (way too many distracting um-um-um-um halting speech tics), the lecture felt disorganized and scattered. I was left wondering whether he had ever lectured to a general audience before. There were also too many tangents and extended interruptions. Most of those questions could have been held to a dedicated Q&A period or anticipated and covered in the lecture itself. Each time he got interrupted, he seemed to have difficulty getting back on track. As to the lecture content itself, I feel that he dumbed the content down to an unnecessary extent. He could have delved into the science and trade-offs of hair loss and treatment yet still meaningfully engaged the audience. Contrast his approach with that of the Australian doctors who host The Hair Loss Show, which I highly recommend and have no personal stake in promoting. The lengthy playlist contains a goldmine of information that is actually useful for those struggling with hair loss and confused about how best to proceed. My journey began with them and now I have much of my hair back. ruclips.net/user/TheHairLossShow

Very good informative talk & hope, for those of us STRUGGLING w/ significant amounts of hair loss. Thank-you.
Interesting analogy!
Someone asked a question about what shampoo to use and he said he would answer that at the end, but he never did.

Dr. Anthony Oro is a time traveling Markiplier from the future.

What about using Epitilon peptide that I believe lengthens telomeres?
Got to know about a lot of think that matters for hair growth. I do think that the information shared by him is very accurate.
If we have all the info, why can't there be a solution?
This video told me that we know absolutely nothing about hair growth
"Please ask questions"
...
"Save that question for later"
Why does hair will not grow on your head but will grow on your face, causing you to shave every morning?

Interesting Presentation
Awesome. I love the seed and soil. It makes perfect sense. Because we were all after all ,planted by God.
Yeaaaaah planted by God and shit, truuuuuuue
@@pitbulxdeaa or maybe all these complex creations were just by chance right? big bang!? Truuue😭

Maybe too dry in the desert? Try oral hyaluronic acid and a good conditioner with ceramides?
Long talk to find out there’s really nothing new to offer for hair loss. Minoxidil is nasty (tried it for a year....didn’t work) and hair helmets!?
''It is happening now'' - and it is a 5+ years-old video and STILL none of those stem-cell products is available or even approved.

Advancing . . . . are you sure
Yeah insurance companies won't pay for that!
ferritin level 29 ng/ml cause hairlose??????
When will we have a cure? Or never ?

Stannis Baratheon thank God ....
very informative
wonder why they didn't use better cameras...2017 wasn't that long ago

Any thought on topical finasteride?

Apparently, um, speech, um, class isn't a, um, requirement for a, um, degree from, um Stanford. Um.
He's too busy doing research and treating patients than to wonder about RUclips comments. 🤫
The side effect from hair growth is lip smacking and stuttering.
yikes this guy needs toastmasters. informative talk though.
Of course there’s a cure just to much coin in dodgy hair transplants & potions that don’t work
I wish this was true
Don't you think it be much more lucrative of they actually did final a cure
Does race has to do with hair loss
