I’m currently playing botw for the second time, and I’m about to visit rito village for the divine beast. Looking forward to getting to hear some of the best music in the game!
I hope you enjoy this slightly extended take on Revali’s full theme. This is the last video of the year. Let me know what your favorite arrangements here of on the channel are, from 2020 below. Thanks for watching. More vids to come in 2021!
@@aspi7850 He's the one champion who actually has a character to him. He might be an asshole but he has a good reason for it. And he has the skills to back himself up.
Listen i don't hate revali. He has a good character and story, but ever since playing botw for the first time and him straight up telling link he is better than him, I just find him rude
I agree Revali is really beautiful and I love his theme. For some reason he's the champion that stuck with me and really this theme shows why. It has elegance to it. I wish I could finish AOC so I could see more of him but sadly I'm waiting for the chance to play with someone. Someday, someday.
Honestly, Revali is such a misunderstood character who's been working his butt off to achieve something one could not. I can see why he was upset when he saw link the first time. He thought that Link had just been given the opportunity without working for it whereas revali took a lot of skill to achieve his role as rito's champion which tired him out so much. I feel so bad for him because of how much he tried to hide his insecurities. He may have a large ego but he was such a hero to Rito village swearing that he'd protect it at all cost. I love him so much and his theme along with the other champions. This theme fits him so much. It shows ambition, hope, power and remembrance of the skilled archer named Revali "After all these years, I simply must admit the truth... Even without the power of flight, Link made his way to this Divine Beast... And accomplished something that even I could not... Guess I was wrong about... how lucky he would be...." - Revali, After returning medoh back to it's owner...
Revali is my 8 year old daughter’s favorite champion. I’m an Urbosa man myself. But damn this is good. There is a lot of heart in this playing. I can tell you are a fan of music, piano, and Zelda just by hearing you play.
1:33 has such a nice little personal touch. I like the ascending left hand arpeggio here that greets the typical right hand arpeggio in the song. That part of the song is my favorite and you put just the right little bit of personal flare. You’re fantastic man
Never thought I could love Revali and his theme even more than I did but here I am in tears. It sounds so bittersweet and melancholic, my favourite track of the game and best cover of it I've ever heard
Your channel is a hidden gem! The music here is so unique and refreshing. It's a breath of fresh air in the sea of generic content. Thank you for sharing your talent and introducing me to these incredible compositions.💗
I didn't remember this piece as all, so listening to your arrangement was a really fresh experience. I love your technique and presentation. Excellent content here.
One of my favorite songs from the game and one of my favorite videos from you in awhile. I really like all your Zelda variations and look forward to more in the future.
I've been watching this channel since 30k subs and it's so amazing to see it grow. I arrange quite a bit, not too often piano to be honest but I can really appreciate what's happening here, not even mention the playing skill and musical sense. I can feel 1 million subs on the horizon!
Just so you know, I really enjoy your music! I've not seen too much of you, but what I have I've enjoyed, keep up the good work! Though, I personally do not like the style you use, not of playing, but of efficiency sort of. I'm not a huge fan of the software I guess. I mean, it isn't bad, but it isn't much of a tutorial, in my opinion. That's probably just me, and I'm sure lots of people do like it! But some people, like Jack Stratton, go through their music, explain it, give little hints and tips, and I find that plenty effective! It really works, and I'm drawn to watch more videos like those! But you're still doing great! Faaar better than I could do!
I hate how breath of the wild got bashed for it’s “lack of music” how it was mostly just small piano embellishments. But the music and themes of characters are SO GOOD in my opinion.
I agree, Revali is best boi. He has an attitude but for some reason that never bothers me. Maybe it's because I emphasize with him in a way. Or because I see his true personality. Though tbh through the majority of the time he was my favorite I didn't even know why I liked him XD, I just did.
I never really minded much about his personality because he deserves it. He's the by far the best warriors among the rito, and worked tirelessly perfecting his "Revali Gale", his bowmenship, and everything else. It's perfectly understandable why he would think that he should have the master sword. He can fly, and swords can only do so much against a good archer, much less the best archer. He would probably win in a fight against Link.
@@randallcarissa He does deserve the best title. Slight spoiler for Age of calamity, he does fight link in an actual cutscene and while arguably this was an earlier point in Link's journey and he isn't as skilled yet, Revali did win for the most part, the fight was cut off by Zelda but Revali was about to win when she stopped it.
Revali was the first of the 4 champions I saved and on my to Rito village, I had picked up memories of him insulting you. His theme and power mad up for it imo
Revali was so misunderstood. He is ofte. Seen as cocky but in the DLC it shows how he is not even a part of the leaders or royalty of his race. He just wanted to be recognized as one of them. He felt hurt because Link was seen as most important.
Revali's theme was just perfect for BOTW. It was weirdly non-boisterous for such a flamboyantly boisterous character. It's almost bittersweet or melancholy.. which is when I started wondering if it was written posthumously, as the song of a hero, tragically killed in his prime. Which is really all BOTW was, wasn't it, mourning the loss of incredible people and culture we hardly remembered except that while they were alive and intact they were incredible.
Ravioli’s theme is so good
