1977 Tyee Offshore first time running in 2016 after changing wires, plugs, distributor cap, points, fuel line and thermostat after rescuing it from the grassy woods after sitting for years.

Have you found a good tool to extract the oil from this engine? My boat has the same one. Tried an electric extraction pump and it took over 30mins to drain through the dip stick!

what i use for all my boats is a hand pump fluid extractor.. here are two examples.. it is a slow process however if the engine is still warm it will extract faster..
