Whenever I have been a passenger on the 747 (El Al, Delta, TWA, Lufthansa), the aircraft always has that loud and physical shudder right after rotation 1:01. Is it the brakes, the imbalance of the tires, or something else?
It's the aerodynamics of the aircraft "cleaning up" after retracting the gear, and the wheels being stopped in the well. There are rubber "brakes" that grab the tires as they enter the well.
Takeoff and landing are the most basic of piloting skills. A lot of both is muscle memory. Once you learn the basic skills, you build on them and by the time you have 10,000 flying hours, you are better equipped to handle other situations of piloting than just takeoffs and landing.

No "real" man has ever told her she doesn't have the muscle to lift a 747. The reason is no "real" man would think that you actually need to be Mister Universe to fly a plane.

What is it that makes these clips involving female pilots so captivating? If I was a women's libber - which I am not- I'd find this highly offensive. It's as if to say " look, even a woman can fly a plane" . Thousands of male pilots fly planes day in and day out, so what's the big deal?
It does not make a differemce if she is female or not. Criteria to be a pilot are all the same. I think you have to really want to become a pilot, the standards are really high. No matter how so many people are rejected from this job even it was their dream. You really need skills and passion to do this job.
