Hi, I bought your book on vegan recipes and I am enjoying making them . However I have to occasionally modify them to remove high fodmap ingredients from them for example onions , cashew nuts , garlic etc. I wanted to ask since you have had IBS , do you still have to avoid high fodmap food or was this treated for you. Which protein ppowder do you recommend for ibs? Plant based protein powder will be okay? tempeh looks so tasty but I think I can't eat it. I have a mold allergy(mold on the wall, blue cheese, rotten leaves after a rain). Is it the same kind of mold in a tempeh? Greetings
1) she said firmer tofu varieties are suitable 2) yes, because some ingredients can become high fodmap over a certain quantity, also you should be careful in not stacking in one meal 3) Rice protein powder 4) I can't help you, I know nothing about mold unfortunately :( Hope it helps =)
I’m glad it was informative for you! Everyone’s digestive system is different, but raw veggies have a high percentage of insoluble fiber which can be a bit hard on digestion for some people. this type of fiber slows down the rate at which the vegetables move through your system which can cause gas or bloating or other kinds of symptoms.
I found your channel and have been watching your videos to get some food ideas. I have had IBS D for years and as I get older it is gotten worse. I struggle with a lot of foods. Watching your videos after this one some of your recipes include onion powder, garlic powder and mangos. I thought those were not good for the low FODMAP diet? I really need to heal my gut but have no idea how to.
I'm watching this, and I can't stop crying. I'm so tired of eating and hurting as a result all the time. I'm really tired :'(.

Yay! Missed you!
Aww thanks Ally! I appreciate your support! 😗
Excellent content and thanks for sharing openly, I have subscribed even though I really do like meat but some of your alternative food ideas may help with my IBS - I am interested in probiotics but I am also concerned with the use of FOS or prebiotics when it comes to IBS - I will check out the brand you have linked! Thanks for the inspiration!
So helpful, thank you. 🖤
I know this is an old video, but found it really helpful. Do you ever use Seitan? I’m reading it’s high in protein and low FODMAP.
Ur a vegan chef u cook nice
Wondering what tea infuser container that was.. I liked the all-in-one design concept! 😃
Yes it's functional and super cute too :)
Happen to have the name?
@@k.mccullough6763 I don't think they have the same one anymore (I bought it a few years ago), but this is a similar concept. www.t2tea.com/en/ca/teawares/t2-teaset-glass-forest-teapot-medium-H205BA212.html
RainbowPlantLife Awesome! Thanks so very much! Appreciative! 😃
I thought kimchee wasn't good to eat because of cabbage? (Saw in beginning) And legumes/beans. I eat kimchee everyday lol. I don't know if thats an issue for me because I'm bloated after every meal...so need to try the elimination diet. So good to hear I can slowly incorporate and test foods. I love food too much!
So helpful🙏
Hi Gabriela! So glad you found the video helpful. Do you have IBS?
What type of tea is that? 💖
Can I have green chillies in ulcerative colitis?
Hi. Are you cookbooks both vegan and low FODMAP? Thank you and thanks for all videos.
Where did you get that glass pot you use for tea?
Hi Jessica, the glass pot with the gold design is from T2 tea. The tea kettle for boiling water is from amazon (chefman brand).
Ease stress with 5 kids 😩 ... A quite place hardly have that time.
Loved this!
I'm happy that I 've just found your videos:) I have some questions. Are all the kind of tofu low fodmap ? Can bigger volume portions like meals with sauce/ zucchini trigger my ibs? Which protein ppowder do you recommend for ibs? Plant based protein powder will be okay? tempeh looks so tasty but I think I can't eat it. I have a mold allergy(mold on the wall, blue cheese, rotten leaves after a rain). Is it the same kind of mold in a tempeh? Greetings
1) she said firmer tofu varieties are suitable
2) yes, because some ingredients can become high fodmap over a certain quantity, also you should be careful in not stacking in one meal
3) Rice protein powder
4) I can't help you, I know nothing about mold unfortunately :(
Hope it helps =)
thanks, good tips! 👏🏻 for SIBO, better keep fruits and sugars off the diet
Great video and very informative. I've noticed that I can't really handle raw veggies, do you know if there would be a reason for that?
I’m glad it was informative for you! Everyone’s digestive system is different, but raw veggies have a high percentage of insoluble fiber which can be a bit hard on digestion for some people. this type of fiber slows down the rate at which the vegetables move through your system which can cause gas or bloating or other kinds of symptoms.
@@RainbowPlantLife Yep, gas and bloating is a definite! Lol
The amount of times I go to the bathroom in a day is ridiculous it sucks
FANTASTIC WOW,,, ,,. 🌻🐞
Thanks for this very helpful content. PS: Your link to the low FODMAP leads to a not found page.

Have you ever done a stool sample test. I tried Viome. You can look it up. I'm waiting for my results.
