Not going to lie when Doc went to TFC’s memorial I felt so much of his emotion, the man made me cry a little.

Season 10.... Doc breaks the Nether. Builds his base there, builds a shopping district there, never leaves and hones his nether skills... first to do it in the history of Hermitcraft.

The fact that you actually cried while visiting TFC's memorial hits hard.
Yeah, I shed a tear, my only thought is that TFC is no longer in pain. He will always be remembered for his laugh and good nature.
Dude as soon as he landed there I started to tear up and hearing doc chock up just made the tears flow
It was a very emotional moment, everything was conveyed in that choked-up silence
For me death never hit that hard in the beginning. As time passes you just miss them more and more.
I checked out TFC's base on the public server. It's filled with onion cutting ninjas. ;_;
On top of that, Minecraft decided to play it's sad music.
Immediately started tearing up as soon as you went to TFCs mine. RIP TFC, never forgotten.
If the season went on just a little longer you could've ended on episode 77😅

I immediately downloaded the world the moment X uploaded the world, and decided to walk throughout the starting area. Little did I know a landmine of feels was waiting for me when I accidentally fell from the bridge.
Rest in peace TFC, Heaven better have enough land cuz someone's gonna strip mine everything off there.

This being TFCs last season is genuinely heartbreaking. When I found hermitcraft, he was one of the first I gravitated to - his style was just right for me and I watched almost everyone one he uploaded. I’m still not fully over the fact that he won’t be uploading anymore.
Scarland, the Perimiter, Decked Out 2, Joe's giant pinball machine, Ren and Etho's boat race, BdoublO's amazing aesthetics and the TCG. This season has been epic.
Good luck to all you hermits for season 10. And a merry Christmas to everyone.
Plus, Total Chaos, Pearl’s base terraforming, and Cub’s “Hermitsonian.”
Add to that the mini game area for the charity stream where they raised over $400k, and it was quite the incredible season!

@@TruthIsTheNewHate84 It ended up pretty epic, you should check it out on the download. It's not completely finished, but it's not that far off. I don't know his opinions on how finish it is, just my impression.
With the "big" hermits like Grian and Mumbo not uploading as much, guys like Doc and Tango really stepped up and carried the season. This was my first season watching Doc and it was a blast!

I was wondering who was going to say their last good bye at TFC's memorial, and when you got there I got so choked up, and when I heard you getting choked up I cried.
That visit to spawn genuinely caught me off guard. A tear or two may have been shed. Merry Christmas Doc.
Doc, you act tough and mean, but your fly through TFC's place was tender and touching. This is the end of more than Season 9 and I felt it in your spirit. Thank you for not forgetting to honor the fallen.
Season endings are so bittersweet. It's sad when they come to an end, but so happy that they happened.

@@heatherreadsreddit8579 not begrudging anyone. I’ve watched a few more videos and saw a few other hermits take time to reflect. I simply thanked doc and the other respective hermits for taking the time to stop and reflect on TFC as it was such a pinnacle moment of season 9 and I can only imagine how it feels for these people to be leaving a world that holds the last bits of a long time hermit. The fact you could read my comment and feel obligated to make a comment like you did is sad. Not everyone in this world is out for blood or ill intent. Sometimes a comment is just a comment and mine was specifically meant to thank doc for taking the time where most of the hermits I’ve watched have chosen not to. Everyone grieves differently and that should be respected but also acknowledging the fact that these hermits become like family to those of us that watch every video and showing the respect to acknowledge a fallen member should be pointed out and appreciated!

Sad, gratefull, frustrated, excited, nostalgic, every end of season is a strange mix of emotions. Thank you so much Doc for everything.

Oh my goodness, when you went by TFC's starter house and I saw the memorial (which I had not seen before) I got choked up with you. Good on you for doing that. And thank you.

this has to be the best season, so many cool and huuuuuge builds, so many mini games, so many episodes where all hermits had fun together, and like you say, you leave the world as you left it, cant never leave a perfect world behind, just like real life

I joined you guys watching in season 6 so I have to download that world and then all the way up to this world and I will create my adventure in those worlds once I get the game.
sad thing a few months later all that stuff is wiped off the top of the roof because of differences between games.
but amazingly the hole in the roof is still there.
Bravo doc!! What an amazing journey! Thank you for the tfc tribute, I just want back to his last video, so hard to hear him speak of being in pain in the final days. It would mean a lot to us to have a tribute to tfc in future seasons.

Perimetre is hands down one of the coolest creations in the history of Hermitcraft, without all the wall decorations it looked decent, but now, with those awesome pixelart murals on the walls, it is a phenomenal looking hole on top of a hiding spot for the world's most insane contraptions and accomplishements.
I feel like it prematurely ended, doc had so much awesome content to give and it got stripped away :( All I can do is wait and see what he comes up with next season
2 years long yet a load of builds were incomplete
I think it’s tricky to find a good season end point. While doc, scar and pearl could have probably gone on for a bit longer I think most other hermits had hit a point of having completed their base or at least hit a point of being burnt out with their current builds. It’s important to keep all hermits priorities in balance to keep the server active and thriving.
With DO2 coming to a close I think this made the most sense for a season finale point.

@@morbideddie i think the season ending is the reason DO2 ended... i think if the season had more time set it would have gone longer....i think the main reason was there was so much more going on like Simple Life, Vault Hunters, Etc.
I'm intrested to see what HC10 will offer. Im hoping to see new faces (skizz, timmy, martyn) or maybe a return of former HC members... As much as i feel for all the Hermits and their work they do i felt like Season 9 there was alot of members busy or dealing with other stuff... Mumbo explained his reasons, Iskall was mega busy with his Vault Hunters creation. Stress moved and has young ones, Wels tbh i feel like its time to move on like Python did.
@@rathishm1182 good point. The netherite beacon was completed, zed did hall of all (plus all beacons), the boat track was finished. All in all seemed like a good end point for most of the hermits.

It's actually crazy to me how that massive hole (although impressive) suddenly became a super beautiful build as well. The mural is obviously very impressive but also just the buildings around the edges and the general theme, good season Doc, well played

It's been a pleasure following along this season through your POV Doc. Coming home from uni and watching a brand new epidode from the GOAT was the highlight of pretty much every Friday. Here's to many more seasons filled with game-breaking contraptions! :D
It was such a long and fun season, maybe one of the best.
I know this was uploaded for you on Christmas Eve, but from all us in Australia, this is a pretty cool present.
It's amazing how I'll go back and forth from blowing myself trying to break the game like 'Doc', to just mining endlessly in tunnels like TFC. Really miss TFC's it is what it is attitude. It's great to push boundaries, but it's okay to be happy within one's cobblestone walls as well. Think you see many, Hermits included, sometimes forget that's all it takes. Thank you for the inspiration and entertainment. Happy Holidays.
Hearing the Intro for the final time this season is so weird, but epic at the same time. Another season is over, a very good season, you have outdone yourself over and over. Cant wait to see your Season 10 plans! Merry Christmas Doc! ❤
For me, Bdubs first episode season 9 at 9:47 (until 10:27) was the beginning....that's when I knew season 9 was going to be epic. :D Thank you Doc for all your hard work and excellent entertainment this season.
Gotta love the fact that even Docs final finale episode is longer that a lot of hermits regular episodes.

I know I’m a little late to the party! During your absence I went ahead and watched the entirety of season 9. I gotta say, Doc, you have quickly become one of my favorite creators on the platform. Seriously man. You truly care about what you do and I cannot string the right words together to say how much I have appreciated your content. I know this one will probably get lost in the litany of comments and (I know I am 4 months late). But hey. Just needed to say that you made the last couple weeks insanely enjoyable and I cannot wait to continue watching your content long into the future. Thanks again and congrats on the success, both in real life and in the game.

I don't think I've tuned in since I got hooked on Baldur's Gate, because I was really engrossed with the game and didn't realise how long I was going to be engrossed for! So this is my first time seeing any of the mural (apart from the first repeating pattern part) and WOW it looks so good. Looking forward to catching up on a lot while you all take your holiday, have a good one!

This series was amazing, one of the best longer Minecraft series I've seen in while. The technical, creative, community and content invested into this world was next level. I can't wait until Season 10!

To the GOAT,
I want to give you a huge big thank you for your work. For two years now I always looked forward to Friday or Saturday to chill and watch your hour long videos. I was always amazed with how much you were able to do in a week time, plus editing and having a family, growing tomatoes and who knows what else. Many years back I started playing minecraft and looked a lot at mumbo's and xisumavoid's videos, then had a break for a while, and then the last two or three years you quickly became my favourite hermit to watch, together with Tango and his insane Decked Out project. I was always more a silent observer though, never really commented much. Times are changing for me though, and I'm going to reduce my screen time as much as possible, read some more books. So all this is to try and connect one more time from human to human, even though we never met. Must be weird to be a RUclipsr. So thank you very much Doc, you brought me a lot of comfort at times of loneliness. I wish you and the other hermits all the best with season 10! Let it be a good one :) Also, a belated merry Christmas and happy new year.

This season has had an unusual amount of time for people to wrap things up properly and I've noticed that it has had the effect of making the super special hermitcraft mindset get totally buffed in it's creative stats lol. I love love LOVE the artwork you've worked so hard to add to the perimeter. I do regret that you were not able to absolutely finalize it. I can't wait to see you all again in Season 10.

You put so much into your projects and your stories that it never ceases to amaze me when I watch a new Docm77 video! I can't wait to see what you have planned in season 10. This was an amazing season, doc. I've only subbed somewhat recently a couple months ago but ive always loved your interactions with the other members, and i decided to give your content a try, which im glad i did you are so creative, funny and just amazing. i even prefer the longer videos so i can put them in the background while doing other things.
And i hope in the time in-between hermitcraft 9 and 10 we get some more videos of you just doing whatever you want !! Like maybe new redstone contraption ideas, maybe playing a different game or more collaboration videos (or if you want to take a break thats fine too) 🫶 i think you even mentioned you were going to return to live streaming, which i can't wait for !!!!!!!

I spent the morning poking around touring the server, and... wow.. the perimeter really is a presence in person. You just can't get a true feel for the scale until you're standing in it! Incredible.
