Hello congratulations for the video, but above all for the great professionalism. I wanted to ask you, what products did you use, in the bucket and on the window cleaner. What is the percentage in the bucket, together with water, and what is the pure product, undiluted in the small bottle. Thanks
@@TradMan So, you don't necessarily have to use a professional product, is even a simple but good dishwashing detergent okay? Always using the squeegee, right? However, you advise me to buy a professional product to apply a few drops directly on the window cleaner, while in the bucket I can use a simple floor cleaner, then the rainwater yield will be the same. Sorry for too many questions. A big hug
Don't need professional liquids. Honestly try just a bit of dishwashing liquid on your applicator after dunking in clean water and you'll see a fantastic glide and perfect results
I often insist my customers have a coffee & bacon sarnie ready for me on internal cleans, if starting early ! It's part of the contract & eases my hate a little for doing internals !
@@manuelybarra6069 I don't understand how your scratching the glass Manuel?????? I would suspect the glass your cleaning, is already scratched. You only notice it because you have cleaned the glass and its therefore more noticeable.
Hey! Do you have a video with dirty (moldy) window? Its usually on the edge of window/frame and very hard to get rid off especially old cracking wooden window frames.
Hi mate, just picked up a couple of hours work each week in a shopping mall and was considering buying some equipment designed solely for internal work, do you have any suggestions?
Unless you have hard debris on the squeegee, usually it's not possible. What makes you think it was the squeegee? Usually after a first clean, this can reveal pre existing scratches
Ok if you have Facebook can you send a video to my Trad-Man facebook page of how you clean the window and I'll try to help from there... facebook.com/mrtradman/
hi as a new starter i just wanted to know what water you used for trad cleans is it pure water or just tap water may seem a soft qustion to ask but just wanted to no great videos keep them coming thanks barry
Very professional Pete. I think I saw you hold your squeegee over your applicator to your boab, to stop any drips on the carpet. That’s a good one. But I don’t think you mentioned this one. That’s a great tip to have. 👍 I also noticed you used your small normal regular squeegee to wipe the bottom sills. 😊 I use this method all the time, instead of using a towel. The reason why I do this is so there are no smears left on the bottom. I’m pretty sure you do this for the same reasons. A very captivating and enjoyable watch just like all you videos 👌👍💪👏😉😁
If I was just going to that area for that job then yeah I'd factor in travel time, but because that area I was going to I have loads of houses to do I didn't add it in. 👍🏻
Good afternoon. Prompt: in Moerman Liquidator 2.0 be sure to insert the Plastic clips for the slats Unger? Otherwise, the rubber floats in the channel. Thanks
My old man always bought Renault's from Semple's Garage in Inverary ,that was 50 years ago I m now cleaning windows in Australia, small world isn't it ?
Interesting, you have good ideas (sometimes ;) ) ; to wipe the frame , I use a "sponge cloth" (spontex, ...); thick - 5mm - and very absorbent; enough to spare a towel
Our houses are priced differently over here. Much less than is typically charged in the USA but we have the clients on a monthly rota and the houses tend not to be that big, ie completed in under and hour or two.
Nice! You are so lucky that you don't have to deal with screens! Do you clean the tracks? Seems to be a debatable issue here in the states. Btw check out my latest video for a shout-out😉.
Sorry just saw your comment, for some reason youtube put like a dozen comments from different folks in the spam section!? Didn't know, so had to go and approve them manually lol. Yeah tracks don't get done here really. Just the external of the window and if requested then the internal to. No screens, yay!
Each to there own 😁 Internals usually take longer to do as you have to move things sometimes and also the customer talking to you and following you round. Near enough everytime i do internals, it took longer than the externals. Time is money so we charge accordingly. Thanks for your imput
I think the real reason for the socks only was to show us your fancy scottish foot work , and the special angle require for ankle to toe work ,,, sorry, just thought I needed some humour, please excuse me for the silly moments.
No tips to share. Good teaching, teacher 😜. I do wish the moerman sidekick had two bottle holders, but it’s sufficient as is. And I wish USA didn’t use screens and tracks! They get so dirty and take more time than cleaning the panes and frames 😐.
Love the way you presented it
This dudes an artist.
😁🤜🤛
Awesome video and very informative
What are those squeezy bottles for your water/solution
Just bottles I've collected from other detergents over the years
Try searching for 'chef squeeze bottles', you can put dish soap in there instead of sauce ;)
Hi Trad-Man. Great video with lots of great tips ,great backround music and another job well done by the best in the biz!! Thank You.
Thanks Matt!! I appreciate the kind comments. I'm very happy you found the video useful!
Mesmerizing !

I use fairy liquid ( dish watching soap ) directly on to applicator after dunking the applicator in clean water

Hello. Prompt : do you use green Unger clips on at the ends of the liquidator channel? Or can be without them? Thanks
I use them to hold the rubber better. 👍🏻
Hi mate what's that I pad case you are useing please?
Got it off eBay. Look for iPad folders or iPad cases
@@TradMan thanks buddy looks a nice folder
I'm using MOERMAN, too. 👍👍👍
Great vid again..What percentage more do you charge for the inside?
Thanks, usually about 50% more
nice Video i will try the negative angel
Comes in handy ;)
Perfectly executed! 👌
We like a good execution lol
Hi mate, just picked up a couple of hours work each week in a shopping mall and was considering buying some equipment designed solely for internal work, do you have any suggestions?
Most suppliers do starter kits. Choose one to fit your budget 👍🏻
What soap do you use for the internal windows?
Same as external, either fairy liquid or Aldi magnum. Any dish soap will do really 👍🏻
Question,
What’s the reason I keep scratching windows with my squeegee?
Unless you have hard debris on the squeegee, usually it's not possible. What makes you think it was the squeegee?
Usually after a first clean, this can reveal pre existing scratches
Trad - Man I think it’s the squeegee metal hitting the glass. I just started so excuse my lack of knowledge

Thanks buddy! Do you do much internals yourself?
Yes mainly commercial buildings and shops a few domestic houses
Making a cute 6 Moerman channel comes in handy. I have a pad over Moer-tail PC called "Half pint".

Do you charge extra if it's 40mins away? Because effectively that's a 80min round trip? And job doesn't look that big?
Many thanks Joe

15 houses in one day? 15*300 wow idk what you charge but I would have made a killin that day here in California

I do about 15 storefronts for alllmost 100 bucks after taxes.. the company makes like 300+(after i take my percentage).
The obstacles I come across when I’m asked to do insides😧
15 houses man thats crazy

How much for each window
I charge 50% more for internals, so whatever you charge for the externals, add on 50% for the internals as they always take longer to do
