And just taking in all of your advice will help me more than anything. Lost job and companies offering me such low pay, once 60 you arent looked at the same ( I cant blame them , I had my chance, but trying to re-event myself) if they only knew I am a fucused person, in amazing health and in great shape!, I would hire me, hey I just did lol... 35 plus years customer service, I listen and takes notes too :)... your help is very appreciated! thank you again !

Hey thats awesome! 15 years old and learning to clean windows for a way to earn cash. Thats 👍 great. And after you have a number of customers remind them to allow an appointment so you have them and the cash coming in. But happy for you. I am doing it on a small scale but could easily up the work if I pushed it. God bless you young man! I am happy for you! Having a good squeegee and mop and the good glass micro fiber towels make the job so professional and easier. I use dawn soap. But in hot weather it dries up so fast so a wetting solution additive will help give more time to squeegee the water off the glass. Best to you.

Hey stevo hpws things , well im a newbie out here in north bay canada and have slowly grown a small clientel in small routes because right now im using our towns buss system to get around and im not doing that bad considering not having my dream dodge buisness van but i will survive. I have just recieved an ettore kit from amazon this week and this month i will order a decent tool belt and bucket. But you are right and it does not take fancy equiptment to do quality craftmanship but it dont hurt to have good tools. You have been a good mentor.

I always wipe all four edges before I squeegee a wet micro fiber does the trick. It takes out alot of that excess water makes detailing a lot faster and my blue rags stay dryer longer fyi buddy!! Ur a great window cleaner.

Hi Steve , I always lug around the old bath towels as well for all my commercial and residential window cleaning jobs, TIP. I also on big windows for straight pulls I have the towel layed out on the ground so when I've come down 3/4 of the window I dab the rubber onto the towel in one sweeping motion, cleans the suds and prevents drips especially on windy days ,My TIP you should use the wagtail red rubber in you edging tool, cleans the frames a lot better than the sorbo rubber, cheers David. i have some questions im tryna fix. What do you do about really dirty windows that make the brush and bucket of water dirty quickly. Multiple brushes? or is it cuz when i clean the window, i put the brush back into the bucket of water until im ready to use it again for the next window. is that the wrong approach? i see you only have a bucket of water filled with mostly dawn? or all dawn? so you barely have the brush in the bucket? is that why?

Neon lights are very fragile. Make sure you take a look around the hooks and wires before you move them around. Many times we look mostly to what we are doing and think everything will be okay with the light. I broke one once and had to pay. They are just too fragile. I broke because the channel touched the glass.
