    Those are fine starting tools. Some suggestions, 18", 12", 6", 4" channels, buy an 18" and 22" channel. Cut down needed sizes( take 1/2 inch off the length) The 4" is a detail channel for bottom sills, mopping water etc. These sizes divide well with long 36" rubber blades, it saves money and make any size needed. The 4" can be an old rubber. Two handles, one for detailing and the other for windows.

    On yr other vids u mentioned do not scrape or ooosteel wool tinted windows. How do u get mess of tinted windows cheers

    • @TradMan
      @TradMan  6 лет назад

      Yeah tinted glass is a pest, if i see a stubborn bit of dirt I'll normally soak it and then do the next window then come back to it and scrub with applicator. If that fails then i might lightly use some bronze wool but best to test that on a small area and make sure it's ok to use as you get different tints

    Is it easy to use the pole for first storey windows where I can't get to with the ladders as there's a porch stopping me.

    • @TradMan
      @TradMan  5 лет назад

      If your doing straight pulls then yeah not difficult but you'll need to detail (wipe) the top of the framework.
      If your aiming for zero detailing using a liquidator squeegee and fanning the window, then it's not so easy but it is doable with practice

    Good day, I was wondering if you had any tips on cleaning hard to reach triangular shaped bay windows?
    Cheers

    • @TradMan
      @TradMan  6 лет назад

      J Desroches that does sound challenging! Personally i would make sure I've got a good amount of detergent on the applicator and make that solution very soapy and slipy. Cover every inch of glass as you don't won't any dry glass giving you friction. Don't use a brand new bit of rubber as it will be sticky, use a rubber that's been worn in. Take your time ;)

    I keep hearing about that dish soap will attract dust and dirt quickly. How prevalent is this?

    • @TradMan
      @TradMan  7 лет назад +2

      Bill Link if your doing a job once per month it won't matter but if your only doing it once per year you may want to use gg3 or gg4. I think the new moerman soap that is coming out is not as bad as dish soap for leaving a film behind so you could try that when its released.
