You can say whatever you want about the movie, but there are 2 facts everyone should accept The Warehouse Fight Scene is by far the best Batman Fight Scene And this movie has one the best cinematography of all comic book movies.
For me personally (a 100% die hard marvel fanboy who recently got back into dc because of the Snyder Cut) I don’t think this movie is as bad as people say it is. For this rant, I’m gonna compare it too CA: Civil War. The way this movie starts out (with Wayne running into metropolis during the final battle of MoS) sets the conflict up PERFECTLY. Showing what everything looked like to humans. In Civil War, the conflict is set up because of the avengers issue with property damage, which is set up by the previous 100000 movies. Then there is the credits showing Bruce’s parents murder, easily the best iteration of that in movie/tv show history. The issue I have with Affleck’s Batman, isn’t that he kills, it’s the way they had him kill. Batman not killing is a huge part of his character, it’s just as important as the cape and the logo. So if they are going to change that, they have to build up to it. I don’t blame Zach Snyder entirely for this, because WB forced the team up stuff way to quickly. If Batman had 1 or two movies showing what happened (mainly with Joker killing Jason Todd…or Dick Greyson, which one is it in the universe?) everything would have worked much better. The moment where the movie kinda lost me is the “why did you say that name” moment. If Batman killing had a build up, that would have been absolutely incredible. Especially with that performance, but there was no buildup. Starting Batman’s character with him fighting Superman, and killing people is a huge mistake on Zack/WB’s part. Another thing I loved about this movie is them setting wonderwoman up, the rest of the JL cameos were clearly forced but Affleck and Gadots chemistry was really entertaining. Now onto Lex Luther…I really enjoyed his character, but I personally feel they should have made Jesse Eisenberg Joker instead in that film. The biggest thing about lex and Superman is that they were friends until Superman “betrays” him. Plus, if they made it joker instead, Batman would be a bit more believable in it. Once Lex kidnaps Martha, I really didn’t like the movie anymore. Superman goes to Batman and just keeps saying “I need to talk to you” the entire fight instead of just saying what he needed to say. I also feel Doomsday was tacked on and not necessary. Overall, the film was still pretty decent. It’s unfortunate that we may not see anymore of Snyder’s vision #Restorethesnyderverse

underrated masterpiece, and my favorite comic book movie ever(The Batman might top), I still rewatch scenes from this movie on the daily. Love the characters from this movie so much, and lex is goated "See, what we call God depends upon our tribe, Clark Jo, 'cause God is tribal. God takes sides."
300, Watchmen, Man of Steel, BVS, and Zack Snyder's Justice League, are the most visually stunning comic book films ever made. The shot by themselves tells how much thought, precision, snd creativity went into the making of the film. The same can't be said about other superhero movies (The MCU) where the cinematography is bland, and the visuals are not creative.
imagine if zacks plans for these upcoming movies happened to be a comic book storyline like injustice.. everyone would have praised it and demanded to make a live action on it lol.. Unluckily it happened to be live action first and people weren't ready for that
I love the way how the vengeance gradually escalated between Batman and superman... Rather than ready 1 2 3 fight!!!! I builds gradually... Yup the directors cut was better and yes it is an underrated masterpiece among comic book movies 🎥
