Hello Troy, when I run a Def Squid malware scan, Mouse Toggle & Plex TV are flagged.
@troypoint is there anything I can install so won't install a app with malware. Or cleaner to clean malware from app
For some reason this app won't work if youre connected to the internet thru ethernet, at least for me -- connect with wifi temporarily then run the scan
I'm having the same issue.
I'm using a Walmart Onn puck.
I just get a message that says "Error, internet not available".
I have turned my VPN off and still get that message.
Try connecting wifi only, it's not the VPN it is something to do with using ethernet cable. I had the same problem.@@stevecohen7443
Thanks for the tip, my firestick is wired thru ethernet cable the app would not start, I disconnected the cable and the app started working, using wifi only
@clay8663 @troypoint Confirmed must use WiFi not ethernet and then this version works on FTV Cube 2nd gen

It can be used with Ethernet (I do it all the time).
What @Troypoint said is that you need to turn off USB Debugging in order for the Ethernet or External USB Storage to not to disconnected if the device reboots or your router reboots.
@Troypoiny was talking about the USB Storage more than the Ethernet, but I can confirm that the Ethernet works fine with the USB Debugging turned off.
You can turn it back on once the Ethernet is connected, but if you lose the connection, turn the USB Debugging off, reboot the device and it will be back.
there's a few other videos on this but to be honest when you told us about the malware that's actually built into the firmware on different places it made me trust you good shit brother i used your code and your tool box

Thanks for the vid. I did a scan. I got a red x for filesynced and applinked. Detected 28 for applinked and 13 for filesynced. That's crazy. Uninstalling them now on all devices.

Hey Boss, have a virus got on to my Toshiba Fire Tv ( Love it ) and has made it impossible to work it flickers then stops for 2 seconds and then flickers again came from a net t v app and got on the O S i have removed all apps and did factory reset but it is still the same flickering etc becaus eit stops for 2 or 3 seconds I am able to slowly get acces to it for possible repair is ther e any repair tools norton etc that can clean O s hep me !!

Uninstall the app and then reinstall from a reputable source like Amazon for Firestick or Google Play for Android TV/Google TV. Sounds like you are using a modified application, maybe ad-free app?

Error no internet available and don’t have a VPN. I have never been able to get this app to work.
Unplug Ethernet connection on your device and use WiFi instead and it will work.

I've had problems with this app also.
More than likely you are connected to Ethernet for Internet. Unplug that and connect wirelessly instead. Keep in mind that this is meant for phones and tablets where there is no Ethernet option.

Are you using an Ethernet adapter on your Firestick? If so, unplug that and connect wirelessly. If that's not the case, reboot your router and Firestick.

It tells me of Malware in 2 programs. But it doesn't get rid of them.
As my video states, uninstall the apps that they are saying bad.
At 2:51 in the video my firestick doesn't have the same thing regarding 'developer options' so I'm unable to continue.

You may be connected to the internet with an ethernet cable, if so switch from ethernet to wifi temporarily to do the scan
