Hi, traxxas probably made battery tray just to suit their batteries, they don’t want you to buy other brands. I’m also into cars, I have a Maverick Desert Wolf, I’ll post a video in a few minutes.
Yes I know about that notch but the compartment is still too small to get the batteries in ,the notch is for the cable to come out once you get the batteries in :). If you can get them in lol
What else since this video would you recommend in regards to both 3S and 2S lipos that have a 30-45C burst or c rating and a 1300-1500 mAh runtime for 3S and a 2000-2200 mAh runtime for 2S....????? I also have two of these mini e Revo vxls and I am like you.... Don't want to cut my e Revo into pieces it's not worth it lol. So far I have the same batteries that you are describing in regards to purely TRAXXAS specific lioos and nimh's. I have the two stock 1200 mAh nimh packs that I use with a series connector I purchased separately and I have a parallel connector that I use both of my Traxxas 25C 1400 mAh and 2200 3S and 2S lipos with. I'm trying to use lipos with a higher c rating that'll fit no problem that are cheaper and aftermarket but with the same quality as the Traxxas ones and even better. I am a speed but though and I do speed runs with all my Traxxas cars including these mini revos lol. I haven't broken squat in regards to the diffs front or rear. I've shredded up stock Traxxas plastic 48 pitch 45 tooth spur gears though. My gearing used to be 28/50 stock out the box when I first bought them both and now they are both 32/45. They used to both be 31/45 a while ago though. Anyways I need a good set of lipos that I perhaps don't have to run together in parallel at all.... It's hard for me to run the lid/shell on top of these smaller e revos without all the wiring getting into the way. I've maxed out 59.1 mph on 3S with some downhill force but usually on 32/45 gearing I average 53-55 mph sometimes 56-58 but very rare. With even flat road with no incline or downhill force I normally hit 52-54 mph. I'm trying to break 60-62 mph though and I don't want to be a dumbie and run the two 2S Traxxas 2200 mAh lipos with the series connector lol. Everything on mine looks exactly like yours here in this video.... Stock TRX TALON wheels, 4000 KV 8 turn VXL VELINION motor, VXL-3M ESC and everything else stock. Everything on my mini mervs is basically stock parts. My gearing is the only change besides the parallel and series connectors. Now don't get me wrong I've had some wheelie nose dives with the stock front trx e revo bumpers and some flip overs but that was with the body. That was with the single 3S lipo on stock gearing at the time and with 28/50 gearing on 3S I used to average 46-49 mph easy. That was once again with a single Traxxas 3S 1400 mAh 25C lipo battery. When I doubled them in parallel I went up to 50-52 mph with a parallel connector. Parallel connector actually adds extra speed and torque besides runtime lol.... It's kinda cheating but it's cool. In a race it's gonna give you an edge. Anyways.... I would like your help with the battery situation. ruclips.net/video/cSI8q_bPB-k/видео.html
Its probably because they don't want you using any brand but there's so they price them really high. But...if there's a will there's a way and you could more than likely put the other ones in if you did want to cut it but that's my opinion
Best advice I’ve ever had on the batteries. those zop batteries are a little pricey, but I’ve heard that they are good quality. thanks man :)

Fale um pouco sobre os carregadores de bateria, por favor🤝
You're installing batteries in backwards. Plug goes through notch in the rear.
Yes I know about that notch but the compartment is still too small to get the batteries in ,the notch is for the cable to come out once you get the batteries in :). If you can get them in lol
You should try double of those lipos and see what speed you get
It would burn up the esc
Venom batteries fit perfect
Do the lipos make it faster than the nimhs?
Is the traxxas nimh 1200mah better than the 1600mah!? Because you didint talk much about them and I was going to order some! Thanks!
There is a 2s lipo from Traxxas, too ✌️🤗🤗

You can connect 2x 7.4v lipo parallel?
@Theo Labbe he said parallel not in series😉
How did you connect the zop power battery to the e revo? It is one thing to say it fits but how did you connect it?
I used a deans to traxxas connector ,you can get them on ebay
How do you charge the 1600 batteries, stock charger from Traxxas?
@Theo Labbe After doing so do you use the stock charger that has the cigarette charger?
Its probably because they don't want you using any brand but there's so they price them really high. But...if there's a will there's a way and you could more than likely put the other ones in if you did want to cut it but that's my opinion
Does the car come with an adapter for two batteries? If so is it the one that expands the runtime or the speed
You have to buy the adapter seperately. The 'series' connector, doubles the voltage, so 2x the power. The 'parallel' Connector, doubles the runtime.
turn it around there is a hole near the rear tire
Check out my project Overkill custom cooling video. Then put it on 4S
Venom sell batteries for it that what I use
hey where did you buy this thing to connect two batteries?
www.modelsport.co.uk
Put lead through air vent
I also have one
Stop smacking
i actually use Bronto batteries and they work. haven't tried to clock it on top speed but if i run top speed for a while they die fast
Can i charge both NIMH batteries at once with the parallel connector?
