Just found your Video. I have a 2006 CL500 Silver like yours with blue interior. Nice review I love the car still have the ABC suspension. Yes its expensive to work on the suspension. I am currently having the valve blocks rebuild.

I have a 2001 CL AMG kit. Bought in 2008. I elected to keep the ABC system. Had to change out all the hoses and flushed the system. The car still has the original ABC pump.

Great video Yaar. Am currently looking for a cl500 or a 55 if I can find one in my budget. What sorts of electrical problems are you having so I know what to look for. Thanks

Hello, thank you 🙏. The problem I have is the instrument cluster is turning on/off intermittently. I had this quoted to be fixed for £400. Others common electrical problem which can occur are the electrical seat adjustments stop working properly and sat nav, this can sometimes be from the wiring connections running from the door to the interior being broken. Also sometimes water can leak in to cabin which can damage electrical parts (not sure how common this is). Hope this helps.

The cables in the doors are the big issue as they break over time. Easily fixed though, the ABC hydraulic suspension is a wallet buster if it breaks and its good to switch to yellowspeed coilovers and a S500 power steering pump. You can get most parts from breakers yards now so that helps. You should join the CL500 groups on Facebook. Had mine 4 years and I love it. I replaced the head unit with a 10.5" Android and stuck some some staggered twenties on it.

I think I seen this driving about however having owned mines for so far a year....advice to all don't buy one for under 4grand n check all repair history not service...repair n be aware as he said...the gear changes are long...yes it allows it to rev out but the exhaust could be a bit louder it's not like a bmw v8 sound

Hi Mike, if I remember correctly the CL500 was around £2500 to £3000 and the CL55 was around £4000.

Great video and very informative. Do you still have the car and has it developed any other problems since? Did you run into any issues with the coilover fitting?

Hi Mitesh Mistry, I have no longer have the car unfortunately. And the coilovers were great no issues at all. Do you own a CL?

@@NOWYOUSEEME-NYSM Hi no funnily enough I've just put a deposit down on this exact car. Who did you sell it to as the current owner is saying they have had it for a few years? I'm planning on picking it up in a week or so.

Hi, been a couple of weeks now and I absolutely adore this car! Coilovers ride great too!
      Jobs done so far:
      1. BAS/ESP Fault gone and conductor plate sorted
      2. ABS sensor booked in to be replaced
      3. Fixed the intake pipes
      4. Glovebox latch fixed
      5. Midway through sorting the drivers seat control tabs on the door card
Next up will be an aux input using a D2B module, Alloys refurbed and finally the drivers rear quarter panel reprayed!
