Following on from the question below, did this affect your own personal car insurnace at all? I know they ask if you have had any claims in the last 5 years when applying for new insurance. I am thinking about putting my car on Turo and have 9 years no claims disocunt, i presume if there was an incident it wouldnt affect this? Thank you in advance and great video!

Out of curiosity do you need to déclare to your insurance you are putting it on turo?

I bought one in Germany, 700km later all the oil spilled out of the car and I'm waiting for the mechanic to take out the engine lol. Otherwise awesome car

I have a 2001 CL AMG kit. Bought in 2008. I elected to keep the ABC system. Had to change out all the hoses and flushed the system. The car still has the original ABC pump.

Own a 640 D three door. Bought 2nd hand with 20k ish on the click. Money pit = stupid run flat tyres. Biggest rip off going. I've finally changed to normal tyres and carry a puncture repair kit and tyre inflator. Transformed the ride. Having to replace rear alloy as its broken Other than that, it's been brilliant. Well specced with white nappa leather interior, Harmon Kardon and special paint etc. Drive is fantastic, especially off the daft run flats, and motor is epic. Returns 45-50 on the motorway. Recently, I stopped doing the mileage and thought about swapping. Couldn't find anything I liked, so I started to spruce it up up and plan to keep it. These are silly cheap money 2nd hand. I paid 22.5k and found receipts for new price of just shy of 80k! I've done 60 - 65k and no regrets. It's a proper GT and not an M3 but holds own.

I seriously considered one as a daily driver having recently sold my 5-Series Touring. My two other cars are a Mercedes SL and 8-Series, so I need something practical as a daily. Unfortunately, the lack of ability to even fold the rear seats down in the 6-Series ruled it out, I’m afraid.

Well done review, have you ever driven or owned a 650i, seems to be few of these for sale and wondered if they are a reasonably rare car. Had an M6 and not that impressed only kept for six years, now looking at one of these OR 650. Well done great review.

I have a 2012 F06 640d , it’s just done 53k miles , I’ve had it a year and it’s been faultless - only mod I’ve done is an aftermarket CarPlay add , and had a wheel balance as was a slight shake at 70mph. It’s an immense car for the money ! Will go to an 8er next , love these big beamers, let someone else take the depreciation hit first and they are a bargain.

Normally i love diesel but in this case i would prefer the b58 ❤ its one of the best engines of the last decades. Its very reliable, has a good gas milage and a ton of power with stage 1 tune 👌 the sound is also very good 👍 but i would love the diesel also 😊 both are perfect engines and you cant make something wrong with both 👌

N55 is way better then Diesel engine. but For Fuel efficiency that Diesel is top of the line, Only it was a lot of sick problems that you need to take care. I'm on the hunt for 640i Grand coupe, but in germany they still cost over 30k
