      I was also thinking about changing from my mega 290 to a spindrift.
      But then I rode it for a few days and decided against it.
      The mega isn’t exactly what I call a super nimble climbing bike and the spindrift was even more sluggish.
      It felt of course super capable and ate every jump and every root, no matter how big.
      But it really is more of a Freeride bike that you can climb a little bit, than a enduro bike.
      It wasn’t for me, because I need a do it all everyday bike and that spindrift was just to much.
      So now I’m even thinking to go down in travel from my Nukeproof Mega to something like a Canyon Spectral or a Specialized Stumpjumper.
      Hell I even considered a Downcountry Bike like the Transition Spur, but I need to ride it first.

      @@rolux4853 i recommend you look at Revel from Colorado.. it is exactly as you describee the downhill properties of the propaon, but climbs super super well. I had one, but i made the mistake of ordering a demo that was pretty abused so I sent it back and then I got a gnarly deal on. Knolly warden carbon. The Revel is easily the best climber I've tried. Way better than my ibis mojo and those are famous for their climbing

    • @morgankelly5746
      @morgankelly5746 3 года назад +1

      @@rolux4853 Yeah I totally see what u mean, I've a canyon torque and I like it a lot. from what I heard the torque is pretty sluggish as well. for me personally I only ride dh or enduro in Ireland, the most climbing I could do is like 40 minutes, I love big bikes and it suits where I ride. I like the sound of Propain cause they basically leave you how you want to build your bike. putting a dhx2, fox 38s and mullet for in and around 5k is class with a full carbon frame. And i think its cool that you can choose to go with a cheaper drivetrain and have money to go into other parts like suspension.

    That was so rad. Lying on the couch right now with broken ribs and compression fracture of a vertebra. Was great to watch the detailed breakdown and consideration of each jump. I really love the way Remy treats every feature with respect. Something I became complacent with recently. Christina is awesome too. Love her energy. When Remy talked about her jump technique, I resonated with that so much. It's almost the different between being a passenger on your bike and driving it yourself. That bunny hop technique, no matter how subtle, is so important. It allows you to gain more height and therefore time in the air at the last second. Something you can't do if you are just a passenger. Plus it means you drop down onto your landing more giving you a bigger target for those sniper landings. More of these videos please Remy! Man I wish I could go through some jumps with you!

    I would like to say that after watching Christina do those jumps that I would do them but that would be a flat out lie. She has 5 times the courage and 10 times the skill. Hats off to being a bad ass rider Christina.
