Over coming fear is the hardest thing . Doesn't matter the difficulty - we've all been there. These back country vids are excellent .
The hardest thing, but gives the best feeling when you do it.
@ That feeling of adrenaline pumping and absolute pride, elation and a bit of shock of what you've just accomplished is just... Yeah words fail to describe it for me.
I think it teaches you a very valuable lesson about more than just conquering physical fear and about overcoming many things that seem insurmountable in life.
LOVE IT! I'm so stoked to see this progression - all the buildup, the decision making, the "not today"... We all have our "Gouranga" or "Rémy line" that scares us and we're working toward. Mine may never progress to anything close to this extreme, but it's super cool to see a couple of the best riders in the game working through the process. Also, when Yo landed basically in the crease on his first attempt, Rémy's comment "What did the coach say?" was GOLD! #progressioniseverything
Thank you!
It takes confidence and commitment to eat the whole baguette!
That drop is seriously GNARLY. If it looks scary on camera, it's literally insane in-person.
Camera never does a feature justice. Cant even imagine how this looks in person
I just visited this for the first time. My mind was blown by how much more crazy the entire Guaranga slab is in person. Just the basic line is very serious
"I am always scared to be fair". Words to live by from a master on the mountain bike. Thanks for the great video!
One of the best videos I've seen on YT, so many times the edit makes it look like these drops are nothing, totally respect you both for pulling back the curtain and showing even amazing riders have to overcome fear and practice hard.......cheers, stay safe
Thank you!
2 frenchies talking english is just the best 😅
Jeez Yoann my heart stopped between launch an touchdown. Well done.
Yes, Yoann! Such a pretty send and knowing to “touch up” the landing was incredible. Both of you have amazing visualization skills to go along with your shredding!
I love watching you guys break it down like this.
So many pro riders just show only the finished product and not the process.
Great build up of the real world big drop process. Good to see you two pushing eachother to grow. Now to see Yoann teaching you some techy enduro stuff.
Bravo!
This kind of stuff is much more nerve-wracking and exciting than just about any shredit. The one with Christina Chappetta was great, too. Keep it up, Ramon!
Cool to see the two different approaches.
Remi with counter directional steering in the air and Johan with the straight air and alignment.
Becoming a fan, love how you break down the jump...even tho i am still tacking the 1 foot drop off on my trails, its good to watch how you show the footwork.
I thought Yoann was going to meet Mr Tree on the first attempt 😬 but then he absolutely nailed the second go.
Anyway he's used to it by now 😅
Respect for going right back at it. That's why he's a great rider because he know he cannot just sit and wait.
I love to see confidence being created.
So good! Needs more “3, 2, 1 Baguette!” 😂😂
Wow dude! Yoann’s second attempt was butter smooth!
This process was so good to watch. It is nice to see a couple of pros working together working on there skills. It looks like you don't put to much pressure on each other. Fantastic. C'est Bon!!!
Love how you two break things down and inspire each other 🙌
Hell ya! These follow up progression videos are on point guys.
Its a great feeling when you finally overcome and conquer your fear. 👍 Great job.
Wouaw ! Happy to see that Yoann succeeded. Respect !
Good job Yohan and great coaching Remi! 😃🙌
At 9:27, when Remi sent the drop oh boy you could really see how well the forl has been set-up it did not evem bottomed out 😃👏
Brilliant, always had faith Yoann would do it too and great to see you both working together on it. Sweeet
🤟
Thats excellent, you guys are really getting the hang of presenting these videos, letting each other talk, very pro! and that drop so sick!
Love seeing you guys support each other. This is what mtbing is what it's about!! 👏
I can feel your fear... i am shure my heart rate went up watching this. What a mean drop!
A couple of legends getting fun. Sick buddies!
Yeeeeeeew! So stoked for Yoann for getting this one. Thanks for sharing the good times Remi. Looking forward to seeing you guys linking a longer trail ride on this one. Very stoked for you guys!
Our pleasure!
This episodes are perfect storytelling! Ty Remy.
Yoann showed us all how to do it! Like honestly that’s how you overcome stuff!
Fantastic - was fun to watch the buildup over the past couple weeks and then see Yoann hit it this time. 🍻
Team awesome guys- so good to see your careful progression. Keeps these massive features real. Easy to take them for granted when you ride so smoothly.
I let out a little “whoop” when Yoann did it 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥🔥
Good job !
WOW!! Remi at 9:15 SO smooth!! You guys both did amazing!! Great job! Cheers.
Awesome to see Yoann do the drop….super happy for him 🤘🤘
So awesome to see this. Great job Yo! Amazing video Remy. Honestly u guys are my favorite riders. 10/10🥖🤙
Nicely done Yo! This was really satisfying to see you overcome your fear, sooooo ballzy!
Different approaches to the mental side of features and different approaches to tackling the feature...awesome to see, valuable content to me and I'm sure many others...Good stuff!
Congrats to Yoann!
Good to see that even very good riders sometimes struggle with features. Wasn't really expecting this after seeing Yoann with Steve Vanderhoek in the rain on gnarly features which Yoann rode for the first time.
Congratulations to Yoann! This was awesome to watch. Fun to see the progression and overcoming the challenge
Congrats on the send Yoann, looks like a killer feature to nail!
Awesome series of videos guys! Love seeing your thought processes for these drops... really helps the rest of us plan much smaller, wussier drops!
man your videos have taught me to stop and really analyze trail features. Before I'd always just ride around, now I try to pick things apart it's really helped me progress
I’m very very happy for You, Yoann!!!!
Great to see Yoann sending it! Great to watch your videos and to see how you prepare for stuff like this! This really helps the average rider to do stuff that's 100 times smaller! 😅
Interesting how even an elite rider like Yoann has a ' favourite ' side to turn in the air, when I look at that drop I have the same worries he does regarding turning effectively in the air to the right.
Congratulations Yoann !
And perfect coaching from "Raymond" !
Episode 5 or 6 needs to be your "Trespasser" train....still waiting for that one :D would be sick....if its ridable of course.
Well done Yoann...
Chapeau to you and your teacher... he is the best one you can get!
Really great! My skills are so far below the two of you, but I still benefit from the way you break things down, how you make your thinking visible, and how you share what you're feeling. So helpful. Thanks!
Super!!
So nice to see a friend push it and send it ! Good job!
These frequent uploads are amazing
My brother's and sister's out there in the MTB world 🌎 I just want to say thanks to you all for y'all's amazing videos and a big big thank you to all the trail builders out there that make these videos possible thank you all I love these videos 💚💚
Really hope Yoanne does it ! but only because he's fully confident, which I'm sure would be the case.
Nice work !! It’s the best feeling ever conquering your fears like that... Doing something new and exciting can definitely be scary. Can’t wait to see what you guys have next. Lol.
Really enjoyed watching the process, it is easy to think you pros just sends it but it is lot of mental and physical work behind it to actually do it. Keep it coming!
Just tuning in here but even if Yoann, doesn't send it at least his hair looks great today.
well done, ive sat there looking at drops and jumps so many times
You guys are my favorite riders to watch! The positive energy, the skills and breakdown of the track🤟🏼. Awsome!
Just gotta love these guys!!! I love everything about your videos. I mean, the riding is INSANE, but I also love all the behind the scenes stuff and explanations. And then there’s that unmatched French accent. Can it get any better?
I've really enjoyed watching you guys session new and difficult trails and see your process. Thank you for the great videos!
Excellent job guys👏👏👏. Then again, as mentioned before, I had no doubt it'll happen. You captured really well the differences in style and technique between the 2 of you, amazing to see it so clearly here. Well done Yoann and well done Remy for getting him over this one🤟👏👏
Remi, Yoann, your videos are brilliant! These last two videos Remy I think they must be watch by everyone who rides (or want to ride) a mtb! Great great great content!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🔝
Right on Yoann, congrats for nailing it!
Super stoked for you Yoanne !!!! and to be fair, Remy is a pretty good coach !
"Pretty good" oh Thank you!!
These videos are by far the best mountain biking content on the internet right now. I do prefer to see the thought process, set up etc. All send video are nice to watch but no one's learning anything. Here, we are at school.
Nice one Yoann!! Can't wait to see the sections linked together.
easily my two favorite riders to watch on youtube
The GoPro effect is real!! He made it look easy
Thats awesome Yoann! Learnin lots from the both of you. Thanks heaps for your videos Remy!
Yeeeeeeeew🎉congrats YB on a massive send! Awesome process on hitting this feature. Huge accomplishment that you should be proud of..great display of working as a team overcoming these challenges 🙌
I was looking at the moon yesterday, thought maybe Remi can finally meet his limit's there :)
Suuuper cool 🤘 congrats for that great move.
Can't wait to see you riding top to bottom
These videos are so sick!!!!! I love how much you put out and you're sending so huge stuff! Also Yoann seems so friendly
Hellz yea Remy, another great video with Yoann!
GO YOOOOO avec ta bonne humeur tu vas l'avoir !!!
Yeah Yoann!!!! Congrats 💪 No matter how good you are you can always progress 🔥
Awesome edit guys. Looking forward to watching you guys do Rampage!
Yes Yoann! Huge respect for sending it! And even more respect for not doing it when you didnt feel it.
If you dont feel it, dont do it!
If you feel it, SEND IT!
Thank you Remy!
These videos are brilliant. Love the way you break stuff down into sections. It’s made me realise rather than riding everything blind and thinking I’m not that good, I should probably keep trying stuff! Subscribed 👍
Even the bottle is like "Yeah, nope, I'm out. See you later"
So stoked for Yoann, BROAAP!!
Congrats to both of you - coach and student. Success is sweet.
This 3 videos series sums up how we all should approach the sport, at least, I know I will.
I felt actual relief when Yoann made it! by the third try he was already on point.
(Pros, go figure hahah),
you are the best duo🙌
These vids are getting so good
Love the episodes wit Yoann
So pumped for you Yo. That's a big 🥖
Your glasses are awesome, such a cool cat.
Thats looks insane. Nice exposure and colouring!
nice one !!! i'm so excited to see the next video with the full run.
Woooow Yoann & Remy, the Best mtb !!!!
Well done, Yoann. Great job.
