Debo, the best tip you gave was im out fishing having Fun. You really smoked em on that 1/12 oz Hellgrammite and now I got to go get some. Thanks for the entertainment.
Broke my PB down south here late January! 8.25 lb on a green pumpkin shad Jackhammer with tennessee shad Zako trailer, 20 minutes later caught a 5 lb. Low and slow yoyos/ripping it out of the grass on a steep drop off was key that day. Buddy caught a 4 lb with a 1/2 oz gold blade bait shortly after that fishing the same pattern. Best day so far this year!
The fish are biting here in the Ozarks. Last 2 weeks I have been on em but I'm fishing with a setup very close to yours and I'm casting out about 50yds to get the bite. In the evening, they move closer but now they are up in the shallow. I have been throwing strictly Zman. Big TRDs, Coppertruese Finesse TRDs, & even blue swirl Ticklerz. The bulletz EWG in 1/20 & 1/8 have been all I used for jigheads. Basically because nobody has any Ned lockz in EWG here & I'm out of em. I have been rubbing "Fish Sticks" crawfish formula on em and it really made the difference from not even getting bit. The wind has been a factor but it helped with my casting distance. Best thing out of it was I met a married couple that saw me catching about 6 and he came over and introduced themselves and ends up the guy is a huge tournament fisherman and looks like we're going to be teaming up here real soon. He's a bit younger than I but I think we both can learn from each other and who knows,... I might just get back into it again. That's been my experience here. Thanks for sharing this video. Hellgrammites are my next purchase. I've been looking at some but didn't know if I wanted to or not
Absolutely love the way you breakdown the baits, rigging and setup. It really helps with being able to compare with what I'm using and offers the chance to adjust. Your detailing of the gear that works is much appreciated. Keep up the great work and Tight Lines!!
Great to see you taking the fish out on your Yum Ned Rig. I took a 1/16 Ned Rig using a 4-inch Senko (watermelon and red flake if I recall correctly). The bass in the pond were jumping. The Madison County pond yielded lots of bass over the past week. Used a little spinner bait that has been very effective this year. The kids used a simple hook and small plastic looking to imitate a tadpole and took a dozen bass onto the bank. Great Spring!
Old school baits that you still use sounds good !! Glad the Hellgrammite worked for you! Received some 4.25 inch one’s going to try soon! Glad Dizzle got on some also! Thanks for going over your combo! Dizzle will have to start going over his or kilt time!!
Awesome ViDEBO! Got some of the Ned jigs and YUM! hellgrammite plastics in the last lurenet bag and have been hesitant to try them but think I’m tying one on tomorrow and trying them out!
I've been using theses hellgrammite brand from NIKKO for years now, I live in the Midwest where the natural forage during the spring/summer. this creature bait are totally underrated for early spring/summer fishing.
As always thanks for the content Debo! I recently started a new job and unfortunately haven't had a chance to fish yet this year. So thanks for helping satisfy my bank angling urges with your videos.
Been catching pond bass on dropshot and spinnerbaits. Had shoulder surgery last Friday so I just been relaxing watching fishing videos. It sucks though cause I want to get out and fish
The Hellgrammite is one I have yet to put on the line, I even have some. I'll have to tie some on, and even find some Smallmouth waters near me, Smallmouth's like Hellgrammites.
Pitch to wood, fish wood. If it looks fishy fish it. Even if it is an 8 inch dink, it is still a fish. Got one before I went to work today. Thanks for the videos.
Look forward to the new age and old school bait video. Now I kinda want to get out there and focus more on the spinnerbaits. I have been buying way to many finesse chatterbaits for my BFS fishing. Thanks for the call out and of course the video! Soon you will be hitting 150k! Woohoo
I am awaiting my order of helgramites and other stuff from lurenet. I can't wait. When I first seen these I told myself whoa those will be 🔥. Glad to see that they seem to hold up pretty good for multiple catches. I took advantage of your code Mr. Debo-thank you!
As a kid I thought the spaceship in ET was so awesome and real looking. Looking at it now, Not so much. I think over the years Yum has came out with some baits that have not really caught on. Like the spine craw. Which is a very great bait. I do think the helger might is going to change that. I'm excited to get some and use them at my river. Great video and tips putting a hurting on them bass 👊🏼
another great video! ive been catchin some here in Iowa on smaller plastic swimbaits. Just waiting for the river level to drop a bit to chase after smallies!
That ned rig with the hellgrammite did a lot of damage. I've caught a few power fishing this year. But I want to work on finesse fishing. So this is a great reference video. I'd like to know which soft plastics works the best for you in the next ned rid video. Great to see lots of fishes catches again. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the new shimano combo and MB rod.
Man, I am so glad you finally got out this year. I've never fished a ned rig, but I've got a spot I've scouted out that should produce with it. I'll IG my first ned rig fish. Tight lines Debo.
If you have any place with bass throw a ned rig and you will catch em. They might not be the biggest or best bass, but you'll get something. The ned rig is the ultimate anti-skunk bait
The spinnerbait is making a come back!! I’ve had good luck already this season catching a quality walleye, largemouth, 19” plus smallie and a monster rainbow trout. Didn’t get an exact measure but better than 25, 26 inches.
Great video as always. The ned rig has been the ticket for me so far. Working it slow and like with you they were hitting it when it just sat there. Always good to see Mr Stubbs!
I’ve been catching bass every weekend since March over here in Cali foot ball jigs and weightless senkos are the best atm. Tried Ned rig with trd Ned from zman no bites yet might pick some of these yums up give Em a try
Man I’m in north east Cali we’re still under 9 foot of snow here I can’t wait to hit the water might travel down to redding and hit Shasta lake now that it has water I got the fishing itch hard this spring might not get much work done this year 😂
Watching this reminds me I need to go try the hellgramite, haven't done a ton of fishing lately, but I did get on quite a few bull reds last week on vacation.
Debo i got our 1s t tournament Saturday i know what they're biting on but I ran across 4 packs of 304 lures hellgramites and planned on throwing them to fill keepers, have you tried them on the monsterbass ned heads?
I’ve been out 3 times in the kayak, caught a total of 12 feesh. Hopefully it will be a good year for everybody. Still searching for my first chatter bait / spinner bait fish.
We been killing them on the drop shot , yeah I said it the drop shot lol I'm really starting to warm up too the technique I was stubborn and I'm afraid it's probably cost me alot of fish! Don't be afraid to try new things it can pay off! DIZZLE for president
Yoooo Debo! Hey man last week while I was fishing the wacky for the first time I hooked into a fish it was the second one of the day. Unfortunately because I wasn't paying attention by the time I set the hook it was already in its gullet. I had to leave the hook in the fish, man its been weighing heavy in my mind doing a poor fish like that. And then yesterday I saw where you removed a hook from a fish through its gills. PLEASE teach us how that is done if you ever get the chance! I'm sure there's other vids out there that show the process, but would like to get your input on the matter. Anyways I really hope you see this. Love your feeshin vidjas brother!
I usually am not into Ned rigs but with last months monsterbass box I might have to try it if I need to slow down I know some spots it might work I more like reaction baits but we will see
I need to tie up a Ned! Missed "Sparta kick" moment at 1:10.😂 Haven't found consistent numbers yet. Taking the family to KC this weekend. Hope to hit it hard later in April.
I went fishing with my friends parker and jessy and i got a little 1 pound bass on a duble bobby grlin rig in the gray color throwing around some old fence post and jessy got a blue gill on a worm and non of us had a fishing license
Ya but I’ve used one neko hellgrammite for 4 months straight fishing 5 days a week and it held up. There pricey but in this instance you get what you pay for
Yum is typically pretty solid for the value

Humming the Transformers’ theme and talking about Monster Squad. Man, you’re taking me back to my childhood. #wolfmansgotnards

I caught a 5.5 pounder on 4/4/23 free rigging a 2.8 bellows gill. Biggest fish of the year for me
Great video. Love the NED.

*Howls of pain and anguish*
"Woah, Wolf-Man has nards"....
I need to order a few packs of these. Not sure what colors I want but the mud fleck looks good
Fishing’s been slow lately. I just got in the Lurenet bag in with those Hellgermites. Excited to try them out!!
Great video. Caught 3 today on a Rapala flat side.
Debo, I picked up a few packs of these and have been hammering them here in upstate New York. Caught my pb yesterday at 4lbs 1oz!
Sweet bait. I plan on trying it this week. 2023 goal is work on my finese Fishing skills
Love the videos Debo very nice
Wonder how it would do on a dropshot 🤔 😂😂. But all seriousness some time out with that new lews reel as a review would be cool.
I'll never know how it does on a drop shot 🤣
We been killing them on the drop shot , yeah I said it the drop shot lol I'm really starting to warm up too the technique I was stubborn and I'm afraid it's probably cost me alot of fish! Don't be afraid to try new things it can pay off! DIZZLE for president

Been using the Hellgie by Nikko baits for a few years. Smallies love them!
The new hellgramite, feesh and stubbydog!! Striking out so far - still waiting……
Great video thank you
What about Micro chatterbaits. I think Zman has a 1/8 micro chatterbait. Ever fished with them? Thoughts?
Yoooo Debo! Hey man last week while I was fishing the wacky for the first time I hooked into a fish it was the second one of the day. I usually am not into Ned rigs but with last months monsterbass box I might have to try it if I need to slow down I know some spots it might work I more like reaction baits but we will see
This lure is what I call the crunchy hormigas.
Was this at lake McBride?
Do you fish at Palo much?
Debo, I'm wondering what the water temp out in your neck of the woods? I've been itching to get out but it's been cold here so far this spring
I was out a couple days ago and it was low 50s
Just used your code and bought 4 packs to try plus bunch of dingers. Thanks mike
Just got one on a 5” paddle tail water still cold here in north east
Did you rig that with the hook coming out the side or belly? And I love vids with you and Dizzle! They are fun!!
Debo I love your videos buddy
I need to tie up a Ned! Missed "Sparta kick" moment at 1:10.😂 Haven't found consistent numbers yet. Taking the family to KC this weekend. Hope to hit it hard later in April.
Man, I really could have Sparta kicked him in and stole his feesh 🫢
I went fishing with my friends parker and jessy and i got a little 1 pound bass on a duble bobby grlin rig in the gray color throwing around some old fence post and jessy got a blue gill on a worm and non of us had a fishing license
You should purchase a license, not smart to risk it...
Where'd you get the scorpion from debo?
I believe japan lure shop
More spinner bait vids !!!!!!
do you have to use fluor ar leader cant you just use the braid ??
That looks like a good alternative to the very expensive Nikko Hellgrammite
Ya but I’ve used one neko hellgrammite for 4 months straight fishing 5 days a week and it held up. There pricey but in this instance you get what you pay for
@@Daiwa_Is_King I've actually bought some since I left that comment. They're definitely worth the money. I've been using the same one since last fall.
Those two I caught last night that I showed you were dinks. But that pond needs help..
Went out this afternoon for pan fish and came home with 16. 1 Crappie, 3 small bass and the rest was Bluegill. Fertilizer for my tomato plants!
Let's see a ned rig with a skirt video. It's an ultra finesse jig.
Make sure Stubby gets a treat
Ohhh if you don't know about Monster Squad you ain't no 80s babay!!!!
